What's that I hear you say!? Why its only a new Foshizimage!
Foshiz mini V2 is ready for consumption,
It carries on where its older sibling left off, should still be a fast little os, but its now prettier too
Included is IE6, fell free to install any browser of your choosing, Os was nice and stable in my testing, which this time was to play the same album on a loop for 3 days. It passed lol
Startup script is in place this time to hopefully try resolve the Openpeak to O2 issue that my images experience.
Inscribe is the keyboard of choice, as it always will be!
Other than inscribe everything is default, no applications installed, all drivers are in place though, Including a new graphics driver thanks to Mevi
New instructions:If you have already got windows on the stick, just open/mount/clone the vhd onto the ntfs partition. Use partitionguru, click disk in the top right, then open virtual disk file, then right click the virtual disk, clone virtual disk, select the ntfs partiton on your stick/hdd and you are done!
This small operating system would be an ideal base for foshizzles Windows Squeezeplay
So, enjoy abusing this os, as I am sure you will do!
This is the windows partition, you will need to format a usb stick with one fat32 partition, and one ntfs partition, put the efi files in the fat32 partition
and clone the vhd to the ntfs partition and your all done!
Thanks Mevi for o2ising the foshizimage!

Thanks Dan. I'm downloading now and will let you know how it works out in the Morning. I really appreciate your continued efforts on these builds!
On an unrelated note, could you please dump your EFI partition and send it to me? I have an open peak version without working wifi and ethernet. I'm hoping it's an EFI issue but the rest of my devices are all O2 branded.
If you're unsure how, it's here on the wiki:

Thanks a lot!

Would have released an image but I am without usb stick(another casualty), only hdd and the only program I trust to make reliable img's is win32diskimager. Will make a custom vhd file and convert it to image though if that's what's wanted

Don't forget Starwind V2V converter. It's a free utility and make vhd into img files in seconds...

I have a link to Starwind's utility on my XP thread, post #1. Very useful utility.
Mick, you could make a multi-part archive with 7z.

Dan, once this build has been up and running on my O2 Jogglers, do you want me to repackage it with an EFI partition as an IMG?

Here you go
FIRST PART extension 001 is not allowed so you have to rename this part to joggler.bin.7z.001 and the second to joggler.bin.7z.002

I have 4 out of 5 Jogglers with Ethernet that doesn't work under XP - device has not started {Error 10}. I've tried swapping EFI chips around with no luck there. I think Dan's joggler is the same, too.
EDIT: actually 3 out of 5... one of mine just started working.

It's not an OpenPeak issue as hardware-wise, they are very similar. I think the touchscreen may be different as a build made on an OpenPeak won't work on an O2 without 'updating' the drivers. Something I've just done and repackaged in an IMG with the EFI partition. Dan, it'll be live later this evening.

I'm having issues; but it must be my age.
I wrote the image copied over the EFI files. Boots fine. It doesn't seem to be running the autoscript. I'm not getting any touch input. I plug in the keyboard mouse mini Lenova device and it's not recognizing it. I reboot with the little Lenova keyboard mouse combo and it locks up right around and before the screen thing at "Mup.sys". Rewrote the image a couple of times and each time its the same. Will keep trying. The times its booted its recognized the ethernet port every time.
The Joggler I am testing on is the one that gave me Ethernet hardware sometimes only seen problems.
Will also try it on another Joggler nearby....same issue with this one locking up around the Mup.sys thing.

Another thing I noticed is that when I go to rewrite the VHD the second time around; it stops saying there's a write error. I then remove the partition with GParted and write a new NTFS partition, then write the VHD to the partition with no issues. Not sure why though its getting the write error.
Next...
Removed NTFS partition. Formatted it to NTFS. Wrote the VHD. Checked the partition with GParted. It wasn't set to boot. Set it to boot.
Went and looked at the parition on the XP machine and removed all the startup stuff.
This time I put the Lenova keyboard dongle on the inside USB port of the Joggler and booted with the new image on the outside USB port.
It booted fine. It loaded the Lenova keyboard driver this time around and it loaded some more stuff until it got to the request to reboot.
This time though the network card isn't showing up (but this is the problem no NIC most of the time Joggler).
The Touchscreen isn't working yet. Historically I have just manually done an update to an unknown USB device and its usually the TS.
I ack'd the request. It rebooted fine to the windows prompt.
Using the Lenova keyboard mouse combo went to system properties. I see the exclaimation mark by one of the USB Human Interface device and Realtek PCIe controller (error #10). I did the auto update for the unknown USB device. Touch screen is now working.
Rebooted computer manually. Booted fine to OS.

Not an issue Dan (Joggler XP/W2003 Obi Wan).
Looks nice Dan. Fast.
Fixing refrigerator ice machine today (a WAF thing). Only 3 years old and iced up when the RO ran out of water. What a lousy design; found out it happens with RO water (reversis osmosis). Totally impressive diagnostics. Little leds blink codes when I jumped the mechanism (motor to make ice). I used the compressor in the garage, wife's hair dryer and all is well now. What a PITA though...
