I'm waiting for a new build to be posted on Hi-PDA. It's the one listed as SP4 (Zmjimi's are named SP1, SP2, etc.).
Zmjimi has put shortcuts on the desktop to switch between headphone and speaker output. I need to try it first, but might be one to keep an eye on. I have a thread on there for my last build 3. I thought posting a 'ROM' as they call them would get me a little kudos there. There are only a couple of anti-foreigner replies! ;-P

I say keep the Foshizzle branding. You can even hack new bootup and shutdown graphics into winbrand.dll.

Great News Dan!
Today played a bit with WOL and remote shutdown. Shutdown is easy. Figured that the NIC has power to it; but no luck with WOL yet.
I can take my other Atom based TS to standby and wake it with the touch screen.

WOL or wake from standby would be good. The USB ports still have power, so perhaps the touchscreen has too. I have never tried hibernation on the Joggler - does that work? I would not think the cottage ntldr will boot from hyberfile.sys, but as I said, never tried it.

Foshizzle branding is staying, and also playing with horm, its a lovely way of booting but its gonna be real PITA to get working on the joggler, due to the xoj-efi files not knowing waht horm.dat is. all it does is make the horm file then the xoj files totally ignore it and boot like normal lol
Have not tried the main goal yet, ewf, as getting the operating system just right first,
Do you guys want ms tablet stuff or you want me to find some 3rd party things? only reason I want to install the ms stuff is for screen calibration,
Freeice is back too so far, going to make a new skin for it, and strip out its car pc parts in favour of media centric touch interfaces, its written totally in flash so should not be too hard.

I've just received my 3 faulty jogglers from ebay about an hour ago and they are all repaired now just reflashed all three with an image of my original one, thats six I have now.
Been looking at osx and researching on google, Have got all the extracted .efi files from mac firmware including hfsplus.efi which when you load it via the shell works ,
you can see HFSPlus formatted partition and list the files.
PS 2 o2 and 1 openpeak

Well your certainly the right man for the job re osx, maybe you could try a build in virtualbox and load the files on to the hfs partiton maybe you might see it boot with errors, then you at least know that the fi files are working ok?

I think you probably need a gpt partitioned disk if you are going to use the Apple boot.efi,
I will give it a try later on and report back on the osx thread.

zmjimi has released his new sp4 on the Chinese forum, he has found a way to have either headphones OR speakers enabled, with his permission this will definitely be included

Yes, he just posted SP4 and I'll try downloading that. Gonna take about 4-5 hours. I'm really interested to see how it's done. I'm using my Joggler's download accelerator. So it will happily resume a broken download. I'll race you.
Mickchip, was that the 3 Jogglers with one PSU on ebay? I was probably bidding against you, if it was.
Were they all stuck on the O2/Openpeak logo? I got the next 3 as a buy it now for £65. (the next 3 went for forty-something quid, grrrr) I should get them tomorrow, which makes 5 Jogglers for me. I'm hoping to get a mix of Openpeak and o2 as that will help me make an image that works across as many units as possible.

Yes, someone has mentioned to me an issue that remains relating to the screen offset with his original Openpeak branded device. A mystery to me.
Great deal there Mevi; 3 for 65!
I thought you were done with doing the images?
Leaving your last one running off the USB SSD stick ; added EWF to it running this and that and the Aquarium screensaver and its doing well right now!
Geez off on a tangent again I tried to edit a wiki about Bing Crosby yesterday...and what the heck should I care about it anyways....

That's the last build of that line. I'm starting testing a mini version of XP. Installed size is around the 600MB mark, but it's still fairly full featured. I'm experimenting with a compressed install disk, using XP's own compression. I'm thinking that faster disk reads will come at the expense of CPU, but for some, that's acceptable. I'll build in some of the EWF or other write filters as we go along. I'm writing the first attempt to internal flash later this evening to see what it's capable of.
Eric had posted a test version of WinPE in a gho file. It does actually boot to a desktop, so I'll be looking into that too. His version was non functioning, but a proof of concept. There seems to be a big PE scene in China, so a lot of that won't be useable by the non Chinese speaking people.

Off a tangent here today....non related...hate it when history gets rewritten and people believe a "fake" historical depiction because its sounds better than the true historical depiction written....

George Orwell was right on the money with 1984.

You guys are great!
I am in awe; like a roadie watching the magic of a band work the crowds of an oversold concert...
