Hi

I currently run my joggler with the stock OS and pnpIII.
I mostly use it for streaming music with the logitech media server, radio and soundcloud plugin on lms (squuezeplay).
With the stock OS you cant stream soundcloud directly from a webpage as it doesnt support flash, but to get around this the lsm squeezeplay plugin used to work really well .

The soundcloud plugin is giving me problems now so I'm wondering if another OS may be better for me.

I'd like to have the radio option if possible, soundcloud capability and be able to play networked music files. Ah yes, and also support for an external usb soundcard (UCA202).

What would you recommend?

Many thanks
Pads

You could give XBMC a try. I run Linux and Wintel on my Jogglers today. I also play with VLC on the Joggler and a couple of days ago just installed a simple to use on a touchscreen theme on one Joggler. Works well.

Ok thanks Pete. Does it support flash, so that I can play soundcloud. I'm tempted with the android image as i see there is a soundcloud app.

Here I experiment some with one touch screen application which talks to Linux, Android, iOS and Wintel.

I am currently using native applications under the touchscreen application that I use. Some of my screens use native flash applications such that the flash is embedded into one screen.

IE: A screen button runs an application per a one line script or a call to a script.

Its been a while since I have played with Android on the Joggler. My last Android experiment didn't work with Flash. Maybe today it does?

That said did do a quickie XBMC check for Sound Cloud and there is a plugin for XBMC.

There also was a Soundcloud player for Squeezebox when I googled it. Not sure if it works today.
