Samba Problems?

Hi all,
Is it possible to use samba shares on the O2 joggler in squeezebox server? Am convinced I've set up everything correctly but it doesn't work. Here are the steps i've taken so far
1,Enabled Telnet then proceeded to install squeezebox server/samba shares/squeezeplayer
2, Then configured samba from the web interface. When adding it doesn't seem to save the settings. Should it? i know the settings are correct because i can access the shares from my laptop no problem
3, Ran squeeze server through the web interface and it doesn't show the shared folder
Have i missed a step somewhere?
