Please can somebody help I am trying to use birds like wires flashing tool to update my joggler to the v30300 so I can the run the PnP 111 I have tried 4 USB sticks and 2 SD cards and 2 USB hubs with keyboards but it will not work

I get a line with ACPI no DMI BIOS year acpi=forceis required to enable ACPI
EFI ioremap of 0x1FAF0000 failed
i8042 no controller found

then it goes to the page to say no valid firmware image or reflashing script found

I think the v30300 file I have is wrong as it does not end in .img.gz just .img I have tried to rename it but it than goes to .img.gz.img !!!

My joggler is on the 26635.53 software and 8686.53 firmware

Also how to you reset the USB sticks to just work as USB sticks again

Any advice would be much appreciated

Hi, sorry I havent time at the mo to search the threads and post you links however your answers are all here in the threads I belive as ive had both issues.
To re format your sticks you need a thing called the HP utilities tool :
And your problem trying to flash the image is most likely down to windows hiding file extensions if you are using W7 , you have to change the folder permissions then they appear. Will post links when I find the threads
