I thought I'd give you guys a small taste of the meal-time conversations chez gegs:
My son Daniel:- "I think they should make Morgan Freeman the next Pope"
me:- "Is he even Catholic?"
Daniel: "Who cares? He's Morgan Freeman!"

Morgan Freeman would be perfect, depending on his faith.
Good with people, was never a Nazi Youth, won't collude with child molesters, would definitely co-operate with authorities investigating said molestation (not resign and hide in the Vatican for the remainder of his life), is totally awesome.

Gegs it could be a "downgrade": he already played the role of God in Bruce Almighty!

So asked my wife (whom watches TV and listens to the news) what's up as I drove her to the airport yesterday such that she could visit a relative that is dying.
Geez how difficult is it to say goodbye to someone that you know is dying.
Personally don't really know what to say; never met this Pope; did notice though that the press and folks are castigating him; wonder if People magazine will be doing an expose on the Pope or maybe he will be a guest on Ophah or Dr. Phil's TV show; really it would probably bring sales up in a slumpy market.

Not paying much attention; I did get an email from my alma mater.
Favorite and most difficult class was relating to reading the summa theologica.

No Morgan Freeman - no show!
The new Pope Frank didn't exactly look thrilled with the new position.
