drive errors still persistent even after your tinkering mevi?

from the pic seems squeezplay is the culprit, will check my side also, but when rewriting a few hours ago i received no errors.

This looks a lot like the errors I was seeing yesterday on the same partition with the same files.

so what will it take to fix this without rebuilding from scratch? all out of ideas as to why my joggler is running good and you guys aren't

I just copied out the files, reformatted the USB SSD and copied them all back in. Finally running a checkdisk and all is well right now.

so your all good now pete? no errors and clean windows?

I hate to ask, but have you tried your stick on another PC and ran a chkdsk or something like that ?? It looks to be something simple, ie not too many files missing and no registry corruptions.

Running well over here after a few reboots. I did run check disk when the USB SSD was in my computer. Then I ran CC cleaner when running XP.

cheers for verifying pete, so peeps just run chkdsk after the vhd is written to the drive and the run cc cleaner on second boot! and xp should be fine and dandy, apologies for not running chkdsk in the first place, amateur fuck up moment

for those having problems mevis upload which he ran on an o2 joggler (mine is openpeak) may fix any errors, just awaiting mevis link.

also, deleting the squeezeplay folder in program files may help, then download the clean version from the squeezeplay windows thread.

sorry as said before for extra steps.

Here's a picture. I deleted SB cuz there were errors in the directory. Will install fresh.

I'm messing around with my old Aigo P8860 and now I have to dig out the Wilcomm D4 . . .

I can do another image; make the adjustments for the touch screen stuff; and post it if you guys want...

Tried your original image on my Openpeak joggler on a HP mini 16gb stick and it works perfectly, no problems with touch or anything else so far.
( Nice Build ) by the way, very snappy

I got no errors whatsoever, I wrote the stick using dd in linux
However just tried it on my o2 joggler and no touchscreen on startup so there must be a slight difference between the two.
Thinking about it there is a difference because the Openpeak joggler starts up with a dim screen and the o2 one starts
with a bright screen.

Very strange that, thought they were identical.
