I have a download link for the ISO. I tried downloading it last night, but it got interrupted with 6 hours still left to go.

I remember reading that thread with interest, but I didn't see it go anywhere (otherwise, we'd have a Vista/W7 Joggler too).
I'll kick off a download of the whole ISO again tonight.

Yes, that's the one Noodles linked to. Is this the part where I eat my words?
Did it work? There's mention of it booting to the pre-install, but as the thread ended there, I assumed there was something major preventing it from being a project to persue.

I have already downloaded that iso, you need a key to install, anyway I found a key and tried to install on my weetab (EFI) but the cd is not recognised
I think it's in UDF format which efi does not recognise. Tried to install in Virtual Box but doesn't seem to work (video goes haywire).
I finally got it installed on my eeepc 900 (sort of), can only get it to run in safe modebecause the activation period has run out.
Anyway in the folder Windows\System32 there is a file winload.efi as well as winload.exe.
Lots more to try.

Dan,
I've been there before. No fun at all.
Building a server here today...W2008 on an Atom 525...passes the time...

I tried the one from the
5308 build, but got stuck at NTLDR not found. Now there's a 32bit NTLDR efi file, it may work.

ntldr? Vista was the start of a new bootloader which is also in W7. The NTLDR that came from Eric Huang (or the XOM project) seems to hard code a bios response... I don't know if it could be incorporated into Vista and work as might be expected. Am I right that you were running the install on the Joggler itself?
I've been building on a Virtual PC, installing it and making it USB friendly and then moving it to the Joggler. I think the install is an unnecessary complication.

Yeah nt6 is a whole different ball game,
But knowing what we know now, if it does get to a preinstall that would be theoretically all that's needed as we could then build around those efi files that get to pre install,
