I left for town with one of the jogglers downloading it's own replacement OS. poor thing, has no idea!! I still haven't seen my kingspec yet. Been 5 weeks now. Last week I wired a captive usb cable to one of my jogglers. It was supposed to be soldered to one of the points on the board, only my soldering skills prevented success. In the end, I plugged one end into the internal port and fed it out of the Ethernet port which is not working on that particular Joggler. The cable's about two foot long so anything like a hddplugged in is hidden out of sight. My method of mounting a he'd on the back of the Joggler is pretty secure, anyway.

Has anyone managed to write out the image from the Dropbox location OK ?? I've tried converting it using Starwind, however each time I mount the VHD I get errors on both partitions / found (it requests running Scandisk). WinDiskImager won't start due to an error with the IMG. I get no errors when extracting the .Z file.
I'm now downloading the Hotfile version, but this is going @ 60k so may take some time !

Dan, from what I can see the build LOOKS pretty. Only thing is the touchscreen doesn't work! It works OK with Mevi's 2 images as well as your previous. I thought that perhaps it was a bad write so I re-downloaded and re-wrote with the exact same effect.

Also, once it boots once and because I can't shut it down using the proper sequence I pull the plug. After that it'll get stuck at ffire.sys and never boot again :(

Really wanted to test the build!

Yep I had the same problem, switched to WDI ver 0.0.3 and managed to write the IMG, but I think there's some corruption in the Dropbox IMG. I'm 75% through the Hotfile version so will post back how I get on later

Not sure wky no touch, do you have a mouse you could install the driver with? Would only take ten seconds.

Right guys please find attached the auto click script made by eric,

To use, you will need to download partition guru : http://www.partitionguru.com/download.php

with your usb inserted start partition guru, locate your sticks ntfs partition and click the files tab, browse to system 32, then paste the two dll files into system 32, then browse to documentsandsettings/administrator/start menu/programs/startup and paste autoclick.exe in there.

close partition guru, and then try the stick in the joggler again, it should then auto install the touch driver with no input needed from you

sorry for the extra steps but I thought the image would be ok with the drivers installed, should of left the script in place like in my previous builds lol

The 2 dll's were already there when adding them, and I'm still having some partition errors with chkdsk on both partitions, missing files etc. with the one I've downloaded on Hotfile. I've tried a couple of different machines, 7-zip / WinRAR extract etc.

I have a red X (monitor driver ??) in the bottom right hand corner and the touchscreen still isn't working with the fix, I hate to be the bearer of bad news ! I hope it's something I'm doing wrong . . .

Dan,

Installed the IMG file on a USB Memory stick sometime this morning (think maybe 3 AM or so woke up for few minutes or so and went back to sleep...?). Very nice looking. Booted first time and started to load drivers.

Same here with the Touchscreen stuff. Also switched back a forth a bit from the Hub to NoHub EFI with it freezing a bit on the "firexx dot dll" file? I don't totally remember anymore as I was fuzzy a bit (old age thing). (brain, vision keystroke disconnect thing that starts to happen with age).

Will try the script in the next few minutes...oh yeah....found my hands; they are still connected to me....lol

lazy me this morning just made the NTFS partition readable and copied the files over to the system32 directory...
