Ok so after debugging it seems the micro os I used as a base does not handle 3d video/textures properly, going to rebuild foshiz mini from scratch based on my own nlited xp,

My Joggler can't find this file. I can't either. At every boot up it looks for it.
I must be missing something obvious?

Looking to build my own tiny XP release with software on I want, one thing that is baffling me is, which core software do I need to get this working with a touch screen?? I am guessing inscribe is the key software for keyboard. I have the latest driver files created on here at around 19mb instead of the 100 mb... COuld you let me have a list of key software that is need to get this working flawlesly please people.

Thank you

Morfeh, just download the extra drivers package from the wiki, it contains everything needed to get windows going on the joggler, any other software you may need will be your choice.

Thanks for the links, I did have these but as I couldn't get XBMC working on my virtualbox setup thought it buggered but boots on the jugger really quick!.

One thing I am having problems with and wondering if there is an error in the code is the NOHUB and WITHHUB. I have obviously copied out the ones I want but the with HUB is just not playing ball! Can anyone advise?

Any ideas?

Forgot mention the building is windows XP SP3 using tinyXP

You might find that the joggler will only boot with the drive on port 4 of the hub you have. We've seen it a lot of times... v. strange. Some hubs won't boot AT ALL. We think there's something in the custom EFI bootloader from Eric in China that is very fussy.

My XP is based on TinyXP, but I think that Dan's is custom stripped down from retail XP.

Sorry, I'm digging up another old thread, but Windows on the Joggler is huge!

How does this compare against Foshiz Mini XP as far as perfomance is concerned?

I want something lightweight to run a simple web server, PS3MediaServer and perhaps uTorrent.

I know in XP there's a likelihood of flash memory being worn out - would you therefore recommend using server 2003, has anyone actually successfully destroyed a flash disk due to wear on this XP build?

On a side note, the wiki goes into great detail on creating a working image using VirtualPC, is there any reason I couldn't achieve the same using VMWare fusion (I'm on a Mac)?

VMware should work also, its pretty close performance wise, but foshiz mini, all of them are built for speed alone, and thats it really, the fastest there is, is probably mini 2003
