I went with external USB for now and works ok.

Where I've had issues in the past not booting from internal memory, I have got it working using the "fs0:, boot" trick. Have you tried this but I assume using fs1: instead?

I rewrote the EFI with Avaya version and then my SQPOS USB stick worked without issue.
I did make a backup of the original EFI in case anyone wanted to inspect it ... but the danger with 2 USB sticks that look the same is that I subsequently overwrote it with another image so lost it.
Anyway - my new device is working fine as a Squeezebox - more at viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3294

Depending on price ... I'd take another 1 or maybe 2.

Good point.
Was a very generic “selling” post.

These are the one's that I run embedded Windows on with Seabios / 16Gb SSD card.

Also Squeezeplayer is running on a few of them.

Labels on these were OpenPeak test versions....well mine were.

You can only tell them apart from an O2 by the OpenPeak logo embedded on the plastic in the back.

They also include a DECT / Zigbee chip and a large metal heat sink across the mother board.

Mine here have been on 24/7 now for years.

Judging by the other post, now deleted, I think you are right.
Might as well delete these recent messages and that account flagged as very suspect.
