Flash Memory

Post by eduponesarris »

How much of a job is it to replace the flash memory then? Not a starter unless you have access to some pretty good desoldering kit?

If you're handy with a bit of SMD rework kit, go for it. If you're not, much better to go with a USB stick or add a reader of some description to the internal USB pins. I've always found the internal memory to be a bit slow when compared to USB; whether this is the chip or the interface to it though, who knows.
