Bluetooth mini keyboard on Ubuntu

Post by PhantomRacer » Sun Aug 26, 2012 10:04 pm

I'm running the Ubuntu 12.04 image on my Joggler and trying to connect a bluetooth keyboard but cannot get it to work.

Bluetooth mini keyboard
Bluetooth dongle

I have tried pairing it using the standard interface, using the blueman interface, and on the command line. The GUI don't give any details of the error but here's the result of the command line commands:

Code: Select all

root@joggler:~# hcitool scan
Scanning ...
        0C:FC:84:00:64:26 Bluetooth Mini Keyboard
root@joggler:~# hidd --connect 0C:FC:84:00:64:26
Can't open HIDP control socket: Protocol not supported
Has anyone had this problem before? Any ideas for solutions?
