I've got an old version of pnp III on my Joggler which hangs now and again.

So it's been about 2 years since I last updated it, and I mainly use it as a clock (the o2 standard clock app to be precise) Can anyone tell me if the latest version has the original o2 clock and if there are more clock apps added to it? If not, is their a guide on how to add clock apps to Pnp III?

Would be great Dave if you could ram in a load of Clock apps, i'm sure I ain't the only one that uses it as a bedside clock.

Thanks

P.S. Keep up the great work with this!!!

Dave,

Is there a step by step guide on how to add clocks / other apps to a Joggler already running a version of PnP III?

Is there a way o access a network drive, without adding it to lms? ( drive does not support upnp or Dlna). I used to have my nas connected with lms, but drive never spinned down, as a result drive crashed and data lost. I want to browse for the drive only when I want to

Squeezeplug for Pi includes an option for HD idle. Is it not possible to create a routine?

Currently waiting for stuff to install whilst tinkering on the Zxyel NAS so I've updated the Logitech Media Server update.

Current Logitech Media Server version available for update (26th April 2014):
v7.8.1 - PnP III build 1398166241 26th April 2014
AS ALWAYS, IF YOU AREN'T HAVING PROBLEMS THEN THINK TWICE BEFORE UPDATING!

Yeah, thanks a lot for this. I only got a joggler the other day and setting up PnP III was easy as pie. Looks great. The openpeak reflash from birds on the wire is no longer available as far as I could tell but seems to be doing fine without it.

I'd be interested in an xbmc remote like the android app too if anyone knows any possible solutions.

The tweaked OpenPeak reflash image should be available from http://birdslikewires.co.uk/articles/openpeak-firmware
You'll need the reflash tool from http://birdslikewires.co.uk/articles/jogglerflash to use it should you wish to.

Edit: I've just downloaded them - they are there!

Hi,
I have just finished installing PnP and encountered an issue I can not solve. Songs with non-latin characters (p.e.: á,é,ö, etc)displayed incorrectly in Squeezeplay. In parallel with this, after updating LMS through telnet, I got this message:
"...Your locale was detected as C, you may have problems with non-Latin filenames.
Consider changing your LANG variable to the correct locale, i.e. en_US.utf8..."

Which way can I modify the local settings? Already tried 'local' and 'locale', none of them works...

Delighted to see this is still being updated! However, I made the fatal mistake of updating today and now Accuweather refuses to accept ANY location. Any ideas? Apart from that, brilliant. Please keep it up.

Hmm. Don't think I've changed anything on AccuWeather since the first release of PnP3!

Edit: Hmm. Mine won't find new places tonight. Existing places still work. I will investigate when I get a moment. Thanks for highlighting a potential issue.

Glad it wasn't just me then! I've just tried the Google Calendar, again after a reflash, and it says "Error: Please check your network connection". As was with Accuweather, it did kind of work before (my login kept falling off, but that might be because I use 2-Step Verification). Not sure if both are related. Thanks for any help.

Hi. I've just installed the excellent PnP III update. I'm really impressed with the functionality it adds. I've managed to get Squeezeplay linked to a Logitech Media Server on my PC. However, I'd rather not have to switch my PC on to listen to music and my NAS drive is broken. Is it possible to point the Joggler LMS to a USB drive plugged into the Joggler? I've tried playing with the settings but I can't get it to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks.
