What do you think about this?

I think the Windows 8 Metro interface would suit our jogglers.. I know its only a skin but may help with navigation?

I'll have a go at installing it myself.

it has potential but would need resizing to fit the Joggler screen... also crashes a lot. I'll try and post up a photo. Cant seem to upload one here.

Scratch that, preview only lasts for 30 days and then reboots every 30 minutes after that :-O

I've noticed the "new" looks of W8 and the tablet stuff now. Personally still looking forward to the pop up anywhere holographic computer display such that I can just shift items around seemingly in mid air. Time is close though; not fast enough or maybe its my age now making things slower....

I'm holding out for Automan from the 80's TV show. You just type in 'automan' at any terminal and he arrives in a neon Lamborghini to solve crimes and go on adventures.

I've had W8 developer and consumer booting from a VHD on real hardware, not in a virtual machine. It's OK. Aside from the new interface, I can't see people rushing to upgrade from 7. Will be good on a tablet or HTPC. The fast boot times are a bit of a swizz, as the W8 graphical boot loader takes as long to appear as the OS to load. I found it quicker to stick with the W7 bootloader and select W8 from there.
