XBMC slow library fixed with Openelec

Post by hawsey »

Hi all,
I have recently installed Openelec on a 16gb Sd card to boot from my Acer Revo 3610 and i cannot belive the difference it has made when accessing my music collection from joggler using bubble upnp under Android 1.2.3 and also Linux Mint on xbmc itself :-)
I had been blaming the Joggler builds i was using, thinking my database was just to big to read : i have proved today it was me trying to get W7 and xbmc to play nicely which was the issue
This was the reason i had asked if Openelec could be ported to the Joggler, i see now why this is not needed.
When i get the funds i fancy trying an ssd plugged in to the wireless card port inside the Revo to boot Xbmc .
Happy Joggling
