[SOLVED] Logitech Media Server problem

Post by dwl99 »

Anyone had a problem with Logitech Media Server Version: 7.7.1 - r33750 not showing the contents of the Music folder? I have my music collection on my main Win7 64 bit PC but it is also mirrored to a Buffalo Linkstation NAS which has its own Squeezebox Media Server running. If I point Squeeze Player on my Joggler at my PC and then select My Music -> Music folder it says "folder empty". Yet I can still view the folder contents sorted by artist, album etc. The NAS Squeezebox Media Server still works fine so I'm pretty sure it's a Logitech Media Server problem. I tried deleting then re-scanning the library but that didn't work.

Weird!

EDIT - looks like it's a known bug http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17837 - I think I'll try a nightly build which has a bug fix for this problem. http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.7
