Wifi on XUbuntu

I have been using Jools Wills XUbuntu 1.1 release for some time now. It works perfectly except for one issue. After some random amount of time the wifi connection seems to die. It will say it's connected and have a valid IP address but I cannot make any connection to or from the Joggler. Anyone have any issues with this? I haven't tried it via LAN yet.
