get_iPlayer Powerful PVR wrapper for BBC iPlayer

Has anyone seen this
http://www.infradead.org/get_iplayer/ht ... layer.html
Seems to be a webserver based wrapper around the BBC iPlayer providing PVR functionality.
I have just tried the windows version and looks pretty good (and very powerful), programs can be recorded (in batch) and then played back in VLC.
Using GSpot to anaylse one of the downloaded recordings it appears to use H.264 video (I think this is because it fools the BBC servers into thinkning it is an iPhone), can th Joggler decode this?
There already appears to be a Linux version, would anyone up for sorting out a Joggler version?
