Does anyone know of a way of making the joggler perform as a dashboard for home assistant/hadashboard?

I know of a chrome browser image for the raspberry pi that does this;

https://github.com/futurice/chilipie-kiosk

Any advice, greatly appreciated.

I will give it a go here on my Ubuntu 14.04 tabletop Joggler (Buzz's build). I have been able to get Home Assistant displaying fine in Firefox.

Looks like the video uses an Android OS base...I think...played a bit way back with Android running from a USB stick.

That said have only installed Ubuntu and Windows on the internal SSD. Note here modded Joggler has a 16Gb SSD drive, configured Nic ROM using SROM tools, mini USB hub tacked on the back (connected to aux 2.0 wire traces) and RTC with battery today.

Thanks for having a look, Pete. Very much appreciated!

I think the Joggler is a perfect match for this, HADashboard does all the hard work and is highly customisable and it will breath new lease of life into mine. In fact, I might buy another couple for the bedrooms if it works. :D

Dapper , Android is available here

It might work on this for you . It needs to boot off a little usb stick .

Thanks for that, I thought it was just me! :oops:

Anyone know how to install internally if it works?

Not sure if it'll work on the 1 Gb internal eMMC.

Here only run Linux and Windows on the configured internal SSD. Thinking way back tried to write the USB Android image to the 16Gb SSD drive and it did work a couple of times and over time would fail to boot.

Dwl99 ha cheers Dave just making sure you are still here , sorry about that , yes Android will boot happily off a tiny external usb but not off the internal memory as it's too small :-( .
You can also boot off the internal usb that is occupied by the wireless card but then you would need to use ethernet .
Some of these usb sticks are so small they are hardly noticeable .
