Retropie on the Joggler ?

Post by hawsey »

I've read that Retropie now works on Ubuntu but the version is 16.4 i think ;
Could it , would it work on the Joggler , perhaps on Xubuntu ?
The Joggler would make an ideal little mini Arcade set up for older retro games .

Should work under Xubuntu 14.04 on the Joggler, but I've not tested.

I just put posts like this up to see if your still paying attention ;-)
Cheers BuZz , i will give it a go then .
I did get the Pi Zero recognised as a usb in "gadget " mode on your latest Xubuntu build but that's as far as i got , couldn't seem to log in to it or get a desktop from the Pi showing via the Joggler screen which is what i wanted to try .
I will report back on the RetroPi ...

I'm posting on the Retropie forum as retro arch is not installed , most things seem to work except actually launching the games though :-)
I'll post back here to let you know my success / failure
