256 kbps sample rate error

Post by Error »

I'm using Squeezeplay via Buzz's Xubuntu image.
I have some mp3 files on 256kpbs (if I remember correctly) for which a sample rate error is thrown.

What can I do about that?

No one!. :(

It's not because we don't like you  , but lack of a similar set up or experience.

Why not take one file and re-convert it it and then see if you still get the same error?

Do you mean that the files don't play?

Yes Ronnie,
I mean that the file doesn't play because of this error..

I still suffer from it, still don't know how to fix it. Anyone?

Turned out to be a sample rate error; I was only looking to bitrate

Using this program: http://www.inspire-soft.net/data/mp3-qu ... difier.zip
I switched sample rate and now it works.

I ripped this audio from a dvd I have (live-concert) and so Sample rate was 48kHz. Edited it to 44.1 and now all is good.

Ah, well done, and well done for posting on Vinnie's thread.

But you still have to pay a penance; twenty minutes on the naughty step and only two chocolate eggs next weekend

Prettige paasdagen ;)
