Happened to stumble across the forum yesterday and saw your posts about XP, had to come back and register. Browse the forum sometimes but not been on for a while!

I'm downloading the image from the filefactory link you posted, unbelievably slow but it's chugging along. Downloaded 950mb @ 127.6KB/sec... Got about 1 hour and 20 mins left!

Ah well, got some stuff to do anyway, so once it's downloaded, I'll give it a go and let you know how it works. :)

Thanks for all your work,

Saf

The first one "finished" downloading but I don't think its complete. It won't let me open it. Its at 191,009 Mb. I thought the original size was 1.5 Gb.

I'll try a bit later.

Got 1gb downloaded off the original jogglerfull.rar, just half a gig to go. I'm sure once a few people have it, we'll be able to upload it back using torrents or other hosting sites so it's all a bit faster (with your permission of course) :)

Virgin upload speed is poor though, I'm on 20mb and even with the latest 'speed update' it's about a 2mb upload line. Guess it's better than what it used to be...

Just downloading now, will let you know how I get on! THis is exactly what i need though as I've been trying to set my joggler up as DLNA server and I'm finding ubuntu so uneccesarily complicated. With windows XP i'll just need to download sabnzbd, ps3 media server, mkv2vob and i'll be done!

Got it. Just finished downloading. Extracting it from the RAR. How do I go about putting the img onto the USB stick? Just the same as it's done with joli/ubuntu/android etc? dd the img on using terminal? Hmmm, wonder if it'll work if I restore the img onto USB using Disk Utility (mac).... I'll give it a go :)

Another application which I use for the image to USB stick is called USB Image Tool. You can get it here:

http://www.alexpage.de/usb-image-tool/download/

I'm currently at 820 Mb (55%) of the download. Transfer rate here in the midwest, US is 126Kb/Sec.

Can somebody please recommend a torrent program for windows - haven't used torrent for years. Thanks :-)

Edit: I've downloaded uTorrent. Seems to be fine. :-)

I just googled an online torrent program and found one. I'll post the file to Hotfile and Rapidshare shortly.

I'm at 1.33 Gb on my download of 1.50 Gb.

Dan, I used to play darts in the 1990's. Enjoyed the game. I was referred to as a "sight shooter". Here though we can only play with plastic tipped darts.

I've got it, imaged it to an 8GB using win32imager.

BUT it doesn't work :( Put USB in, plug power in and the O2 boot logo comes on, takes a little longer than usual I think, then goes straight into the normal O2 software.

Any help? Did you have it connected to a hub? any extra info please?

Hope you have better luck Pete! Let me know how you get on. Mine downloaded at exactly the same speed, they cap it ridiculously low for free users!

I downloaded this at the same speed as you guys. I just used Win32Imager to pop it on an 8Gb mini HP stick, stuck it in the Joggler and away it went first time!

Personally I've never had any problems with uTorrent.

Same here. Thought it'd probably the USB but Android and Linux worked fine...

I'm giving the imaging another go. Instead of win32imager, using dd on mac instead this time. Second time lucky :) Not got anything else to put it on if it doesn't work :(
