24/192 patch problem

Post by Man in a van »

During the last week or so I have installed the Triode EDO plugin on a Joggler.

(Props to Triode,Wilberforce, karlek and of course, roobarb)

I used the latest v3 internal of SqPOS.

When I tried to install the patch for the high res files I find that it's a 'no go'.

joggler@openframe:~$ cd /usr/share/perl5/Slim/Player
-bash: cd: /usr/share/perl5/Slim/Player: No such file or directory
and using WinSCP I get

Does anyone have an ideas/solutions?

Thanks

Ronnie

All I can offer is a screenshot of my perl5. It shows a couple of files and folders you're missing.
I'm running the latest SqueezePlay OS v3.0.3.

Edit: After further investigation it semis, that you're missing the newer files from 14.09.2015. You're sure that you indeed run the latest version?
(Mine is external, btw.)

Thanks for that.

I had put this on the back burner for a while and just 'bumped' it today whilst posting on another thread.

I'm sure that in the past i have done this on an internal version (but it might have been a previous version which allowed LMS)

I'll try again with both an internal (just want to use SqueezePlay as a player via EDO) and an external version.

Best wishes for the New Year

You're welcome and thanks for that evergreen. :)
I visited meanwhile roobarbs hp and the last v303 is indeed from 15. Of January. So maybe you must do that apt-get update && apt-get upgrade thingy mentioned in roobarbs thread.

Best wishes to you either.

Well, I finally got round to having a fresh start with this and can confirm that the 24/192 patch will only install with LMS on the Joggler.

I tested with the external version of the latest sqpos 303 and with an internal version of the previous sqpos 2.06.

What a pity that it's no longer possible to use the updated version on the internal chip.

Hey-ho :(
