Rather than utilize the 32Gb USB SSD getting a 32Gb ZIF PATA drive this week as I am wanting to keep the internal USB for wlireless and trying again with said endeavour.

Goofing around and unrelated / related to W10 a bit also building from scratch a new XP build on a 16Gb SSD.

I am noticing now issues with interrupts, new NIC SROM, Seabios that I never noticed before which is actually hindering a build from scratch.

Originally here I just updated the current crop of XPe Jogglers with the SROM stuff and they all working fine.

I was able to get XPe to work.

With the added NIC port stuff it was causing some odd interrupt error (BSOD) when booting thinking it was relating to the order of the boot of the devices?

With the W10 build it just hangs when installing. Thinking if I wipe the SROM clean before installing W10; then rewrite the SROM after it has installed it might work?

Got Windows 10 PE going on the Coreboot/Seabios joggler.
Here are the links if anyone wants to try it.

http://mistype.reboot.pro/documents/Win ... atBoot.htm

There are different PE builds but this is the one I used, don't know if the others will work.

Only just installed it, Its on a kingspec ssd stick, still a bit slow but there are quite a few Apps included.
Browser has crashed a couple of times, but it has Firefox, Opera and Google chrome.
Will try to sort it, I also may try another image. It may be that I'm not sure what the hell I'm doing, it's all trial and error, try again with me, however I usually get there in the end.

Even if it would fit you wouldn't be able to boot it, Coreboot doesn't see the internal MMC

Now I know why it was a bit slow, the Kingspec stick has just died.
Still shows as 30gb in diskpart but will not format and I can't read or write it.

Just tried the latest version of WIN10pe from the above site, that works OK too

Whoa!

Here I lost one Kingspec 8Gb stick to date. Whatever I tried I couldn't revive it. One part of it did look a tad scorched. That is a short life time for the 32Gb Kingspec USB stick.

I have noticed that Windows 10 puts it's teeth in the boot record of the disk looking at it a bit. IE: going from the W10 boot stuff back to Linux or XP sometimes I would have to prepare (wipe) the USB stick a few times for it to take?

Thinking I did revive the 8Gb Kingspec stick some how. I have one that I am using right now that has scorch marks on it is working.

I was un able to revive a 16Gb SSD card from a while ago.

I did finally get my 64Gb SSD card last week.

I installed Windows 10 and Windows 8 embedded on it. I am having some weird issues with a jack flash jumpy touchscreen cursor on it which caused me grief.

As I have run out of space on my Buzz Ubuntu test Joggler going to image the 16Gb SSD to this 64Gb SSD for the time bean and use the 16Gb SSD for another automation Windows touchscreen (#16 Joggler now).

Trying to break the automation mothership. These are Wintel based Jogglers.

There are Linux Jogglers scurrying about too. (really they do not scurry).

Note that the MAC addresses are made up and not standard for Openpeak.

Redid Windows 10 on the Joggler using a 64Gb SSD. I understand it is a bit larger than what I wanted to do this with. IE: a 32Gb SSD

Used a couple of programs to cleanse it this time.

Went over to testing / playing with W8 embedded...ugg...didn't like it...

Tweaking W10 again. It is very chatty Kathy and really and truly considering it an internet terminal of sorts...even after removing stuff it keeps wanting it back....really no different than any smartphone / tablet these days...ZMNinja runs really well on it...(video seems to be better than embedded XP - maybe though it is just me?)

I could get ZMNinja to run in Ubuntu but it is not as fast as W10.

ZMNinja is a very nice touchscreen Zoneminder interface / console that runs on any mobile smart phone in any OS. I have been using Zoneminder now for well over 10 years and it does allow for any of my cameras to be configured today.
