The Kirchhofer 2014-04-02 latest build (135MB) works for me.
Early days, but looking good.

UPDATED:

Seems to freeze/hang after dimming if you set the Display in System to anything other than be always on.
Sound disappeared overnight, requiring a reboot to get back any playback volume.

Do you mind giving me a quick step-by-step on how you flashed this?

I've used two brand new different brand usb devices using dd if=XXX of=/dev/disk1 bs=2m and each time I can see the files the joggler just refuses to boot from it. I know USB is good as I can boot into spPOS and Ubuntu ok with other sticks.

I'm not especially techminded, I just used the freely available Win32DiskImager, with simple GUI specifying source and location.
When I browsed the USB stick in Windows afterwards, there were just two script type 'files' visible to me.
Thought this was a bad sign, but it worked in the Joggler. Did you see I updated my initial post?

This release (135MB) is great. Just DD'd the image to a USB stick. Snappier than the Mijuu build I was using before. It's running on a mediocre 8GB flash drive and doesn't stall like the old build.

Only problem is the market is missing a lot of useful apps, I'm guessing this is due to an unusual DPI? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

A temporary fix would be to use the chrome apk downloader extension on your PC, copy the apk file to Dropbox and sideboard it from there.

I think I must be missing something as I can't get this to boot.

[*]Download the first link from http://www.familie-kirchhofer.de/android/
[*]Clean a USB with the HP utility on full format
[*]Write the image with Win32diskimager
[*]Plug in and reboot.

I've tried two different sticks both of which I've used to boot XBMC and Squeezeplay OS.

:D Always worth asking. Yes.

If I put the stick in a Linux machine I can see the 4 partitions with all the files.

I'll try it in a different Joggler tonight.

Took the USB stick home and popped it into one of my Jogglers and it booted straight away.

Brought it back to the office and it still won't boot. It flashes as if it's being read but then drops back to booting SPOS.

The same stick worked fine for flashing SPOS so I'm sure the stick is OK.

Yes full format.

Just done a bit more testing (maybe I should do some work :D ).

USB stick with full format and written with XBMC boots fine.
Same stick reformatted (full) and written with Android boots fine on Joggler at home.
Same stick reformatted (full) and written with Android won't boot on Joggler at work.

Now I'm confused.

I'm in the same boat as you, I had the same with android 4.0.4 too.

I haven't tried on another joggler however, perhaps theres some subtle difference in hardware between them?

Can or have you tried win disk 32 version 0.3 after first formatting with HP utilities ?
I had very similar issues until someone told me to use 0.3

Has someone got a link to v0.3. I have 0.1 and 0.9 but the archive only goes back to 0.6.

This booted fine for me using a Sandisk Cruzer Blade USB stick and Win32DiskImager v0.9

Unfortunately, I wanted it for TV apps and only audio plays, not video. A very slick interface though and good for other things.

I used Win32diskimager v9 & flashed the image onto a lexar 8GB USB drive which then booted first time. It looks very pretty but as everyone else has noted, root doesn't work yet. I think I'll wait until it has root and GAPPS. The ICS build is massively better than the previous Froyo version.

Does ICS have working video, or am I being silly?

No Android builds for the Joggler have working video due to the lack of a proper graphics driver.
