Cheers Craig , the internet black hole is a shame , there should be some massive storage facility somewhere :-)
There is: https://web.archive.org

You can use the Internet Archive to explorer websites from a particular period in time. If it was a popular website, chances are it will be in the archive.

However, most downloads and any closed forms will not be accessible.

I've noticed on things like BBC bite size for my 7 year old some times they will have an " imbed this in to your own page " and some flash code .
Would this likely work on a Joggler ? There are some good educational games on there .
I've just had a quick look at this and most of the Flash based BBC bitesize games will work on the Joggler, unless they are linked to external files such as log files, mp3's etc. Here's the easiest method:

1. Look in the source "View page source" (as pete said), on the page you want to download the .SWF file from.

or... Copy the .SWF URL from the flash code box (Share on your site thingi)

The BBC downloads appear to be located in http://downloads.bbc.co.uk

For example: http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/ks3 ... /intro.swf

From: http://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/ks3/games/spherox/

2. Access the extracted .SWF URL and download the .SWF file by clicking "Save page"

3. Using SCP, copy the file into /media/appshop/flash

4. Use the "SWF Launcher" on the joggler, click on "Flash" and run the SWF file

Be quick as the BBC is updating all old flash content to HTML5, so the older pages may be archived or disappear completely.

Just got around to updating my jogglers to pnpIII v3.6, two already in service, the very last one would not flash.
It took the latest firmware and I restarted it, then tried pnpIII after that nothing, even tried using unr to make an image of one of the working jogglers and DDing it to the none working still nothing, looks like that one is calling for the PATA mod.

By the way thanks for the update Craig, makes a big difference to the functionality.

Have you tried doing a regular Ubuntu boot and a repair of the 1Gb EMMC (not sure if you can do this anyways)?

BTW relating to the Openpeak 2 larger device it does have traces for a microSD card. I never got around to getting only test working on the Openpeak 2 open motherboard. This would be an easier small footprint easy fit inside of the case solution.

Hi Pete
Yes I have tried doing a repair, I have dd'd a complete image to the mmc and I can mount the partitions in ubuntu and see all the files but it will not boot.
I have flashed Squeezeplay OS to this one and it is working ok so I'm leaving it at that.

Thank you Craig for the update to PnP III !!!!!

@mickchip...try a swap on the the boot rom, maybe too a hot-swap, and then a rewrite of the rom from booting rom.

Been tinkering with GeoBlocking (PFSense - MaxMind) and keep blocking myself...
