Wow!!

Here have kept a working C64 and Amiga 2000 but haven't turned them on in many many years.

The C64 used 5 1/4" very slow floppy drive.

I have tried a Linux C64 emulator and it works well.

Nice one Pete :-) are you aware of the Joystick that can be hacked in to a working C64 ? If just found this today !

I did not know.

I have yet to turn on the old saved C64. I had a few of these for a while in the 80's. Didn't play many games with it back then.

Stuff I did back then was more related to hardware interaction with the C64

C-64 BBS / forum using multiple ventel modems, multiple telephone lines and a custom hardware modem switcher I made, moving a TV station satellite downlink dish for saving television programming, helped a tugboat engineer with navigation software (auto drive of the tugboat), some speech stuff...et al. Got the same television station to utilize the Amiga Toaster for it's live video production stuff..
