Re: What would you like windows joggler to do next?
Dan, Mevi - thanks for your replies. Mevi - it is interesting to know the background on Windows on the Joggler (perhaps it could be called WinJo's ?) Its a shame about Win 7 - I have no idea what the issues are, but I wonder if anyone has got it working on an Intel Mac - as Mevi pointed out this is ...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler
Thanks roobarb! for your reply. The guy I bought the Joggler off I'm pretty sure had it from new. I don't think he modified the stock os. I haven't used the stock os - well I did power it up when I bought it, something like Nov 2010, and it may have been connected to the net at the time. But I haven...

Re: Bricked it....
The laptop power supplies I have seen typically supply around 19 Volts. I believe laptops can operate from 12 Volts upwards. Laptop power supplies provide a higher voltage so that the laptop can be operated and the battery charged at the same time. I am interested to know what sort of voltage a jogg...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler
I have a working Joggler and have no reason at the moment to reflash it. But if I did, what are the risks associated with it ? I'd like to get the O2 "virtual" mobile number and free sms. I saw some where here that if a Joggler is reflashed, this will be offered. I've just has a look over ...

Re: What would you like windows joggler to do next?
Sorry if I'm asking for something that has already been covered or may just not be viable... What are the prospects of getting a Win 7 extreme light build for the Joggler ? I have seen that there are a few Win 7 light distros around, but haven't used them. I've been lurking for a long time and getti...

Power Joggler & External Device from Joggler Power Supply
When I had a look at my Joggler power supply (has openpeak on it) today, I states that it delivers 5V at up to 4 amps. 4 Amps is quite a bit of current, and I have seen on another post that at boot time a joggler only draws something like 1.2 amps. So as a suggestion, I wonder if it would be possibl...

Re: What would you like windows joggler to do next?
I haven't tried an xp image on the Joggler, but with any MS OS, one of my greatest concerns is the ability to update with the latest patches and to have some degree of control over what happens. I like to use autopatcher.com for my XP netbook. This project seems to be alive again as there was a stag...

How to build a Linux image for the Joggler
Thanks to the people who have put time and effort into producing the Linux images for the joggler - I dont know what's involved in doing that, but I certainly do appreciate the end result ! I like the Tiny Core Linux approach, which is a small, fast, minimalist distro that can be extended as require...

Re: Ubuntu for the O2 Joggler.
First - thank to the people who produced the Joggler linux images. I knew the joggler was good, and have had one for a couple of months and done very little with it. well I downloaded and ubuntu 10.10 image, put it on a usb pen drive and it all worked. I was very impressed by that. But then after us...
