Re: Radio stations
More than likely you will have downloaded the alternative radio application, this resides here: /openpeak/gui/apps/o2_radio If you followed the original "upgrade" instructions correctly the original stock radio app should still be there called something like main.old Delete or rename the c...

Re: BBC iPlayer/Live for stock OS - FIXED JERKY PLAYBACK
Have you made the scripts executable?
If not you need to telnet in and navigate to the /media/iPlayer directory and perform these 2 commands:
chmod +x app.cgi
chmod +x iPlayer.cgi

I believe Buzz said he had scraped the site so all the info is still available, now just needs to be made accessible.

Re: Desperate help required - loop on start up !!!
Mine occasionally takes a few goes to actually start up, I have noticed a few different ways that they start up. 1) Blue O2 screen, followed by bubbles, followed by standard front end (all good!) 2) Blue O2 screen, followed by bubbles, followed by nothing (looking closely on screen you can still see...

Re: Remote Control with SqueezePlay on Joggler?
I use SqueezePad for the iPad, of course this assumes you have an iPad!!
Excellent app though (for an iPad app it is expensive but worth every penny), can even turn your iPad into a SqueezePlayer!

Re: Ubuntu for the O2 Joggler.
Default to max cstate=2 to avoid crackles on (all) jogglers without grub.cfg editing Ahh, good stuff. Over the past few weeks I've been setting all my Jogglers to cstate=2 as well, to avoid crackles, but also because I was getting some weird filesystem errors on one Joggler that crackled like crazy...

Re: Strange screen display on boot up
I have 2 and one shows the openpeak logo. On the very first boot up it had lines on it (similar to what you described) which made me think it was faulty, but it did boot up okay and it has been fine ever since, it doesn't so the line thing anymore either (which I thought was odd)! No sure about boot...

Launching a local SWF using http
Is there any way of launching a local SWF, located say in /media via a command line such as: cd openpeak/tango ./tango http://localhost/media/nameofswf.swf?param1=dog The above doesn't work but I'm sure there must be a way. The reason I want to do this is because it seems to be the only way to pass ...

Re: BBC iPlayer/Live for stock OS - FIXED JERKY PLAYBACK
Ben, I think I have just realized the issue you are having, I presume you downloaded it today after about 10:30am, in this case you have the newer version, and the installation is very slightly different. You just need to telnet in and navigate to the /media/iPlayer directory and perform these 2 com...

Re: BBC iPlayer for Joggler (stock OS)
Ben, If you are able to search for individual programs then it should work, to play you need to click the thumbnail icon next to the program name, to play live streams click on the larger icons on the first screen. I am about to upload a new version whith much smoother playpack of the streams so I w...

Re: BBC iPlayer for Joggler (stock OS)
gegs: I have investigated this and too be honest I never realized before how much smoother it is when played through SWF (even the on demand feeds). If I could implement the same mechanism for playing the feeds as SWF then the playblack would be just as smooth, unfortunately I have no idea how SWF d...

2 Jogglers Won't Connect to Internet
This evening without warning both my Jogglers (stock OS) have stopped connecting to the internet, eg Internet Radio, Opera, and BBC iPLayer don't work, although YouTube and maps do (albeit very slowly)! I have tried rebooting everything (Jogglers and router) with no joy and I am at a complete loss a...

Re: Squeezebox plugin problem
Sounds like you need to do the chown command.
Not sure of the exact command but if you search these forums for chown you should find it.

Extending iPlayer
Been tinkering with the iPlayer app (got source from here http://jogtools.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/apps/bbc/), I have added a (currently crude) mechanism for playing any program as long as you know the PID number for it, would anyone be interested in hosting it? I was hoping to make use of get_iplay...
