Re: Free Joggler
Here recently took the oldest O2 Joggler with a failing eMMC and purchased a small footprint USB stick for it and wrote newest Ubuntu image to the USB stick. Lately using balenaEtcher (Etcher) which runs in Windows, Linux and Macs. Works great. Give it a try. Happy future birthday Gary!!! @Man in a...

Big shout out to member Chrisps for the lovely Joggler that has arrived today . It will be going on to do some Amateur Radio duties if I can get Linux going on it . Re: Free Joggler
I just found my old O2 Joggler. It's never really had much use and If figure someone on here might be able to give it the life it deserves! Free to whomever wants to organise postage for collection from my house. Preferably Royal Mail; looks like I should be able to fit it in a Royal Mail "Sma...

Re: Hamclock RPi project on Joggler? - FIXED
Great getting that working Pete [emoji106].And good luck getting back on the airwaves . I'm sure there are still lots of potential other uses for Jogglers and radio . I have used mine for SDR on Android and also to pick up aircraft beacons , again on Android just because it was easy to set up but th...

Re: Hamclock RPi project on Joggler? - FIXED
Hi, Sorry for the silence, but I have been working away from home recently. The steps I took to get the Hamclock working are outlined in a Wiki page I wrote for the amateur radio community, OARC, over at: https://wiki.oarc.uk/hamclock_running_on_an_o2_joggler As I say, I am no coder, and this is pr...

Re: Joggler Problems (2 Jogglers, different prblems)
Nice one [emoji106] some people also put a usb stick internally in place of the usb wireless card which isn't the best then fit an external usb WiFi Dongle in the side port .
There is a recommended supported one but I forget what it is at the moment.

Re: Joggler Problems (2 Jogglers, different prblems)
Hi All, OK, I'm about a week in to owning Jogglers. The 2nd one only arrived today, but I'm already getting serious headaches! :-) The First Joggler. This keeps getting a weird problem where I just can't get to the 'Now Playing' screen any more. I press on it, but nothing happens. A reboot results ...

Re: BBC Microcomputers
When I visited the National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park last year they had a working Domesday system just relaxing in the corner of a room. That place is an absolute tardis, I spent virtually an entire day chatting to the team there before I discovered it. Actually, five minutes and I'll ...

Re: BBC Microcomputers
Hey everyone, Apologies that I've not done so much with the OpenFrames as I would have liked recently, but I've been rediscovering my old pal, the 8-bit BBC Micro! What is now my Model B was bought new back in 1982(ish) by my Dad. While searching for bits and pieces for it, I developed a habit of t...
