Re: TV on the joggler?
I use the Touched skin on my iPad which is very good. http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add-on:Touched Would this work on the Joggler? I have no idea how to get this onto the Joggler though (it installs by default on the iPad), so if any knows can they explain, that would be most appreciated. If ...

Re: TV on the joggler?
@ilovemyjoggler The solution I described, ie configuring the settings before starting the EPG will work on any OS. However, the actual steps I provided yesterday were for the skin that comes with Buzz's Jolios distribution, the steps may be different depending upon which skin is being used by XBMC. ...

TV on the joggler?
Right I have sussed out how to get the EPG version working. The problem seems to be in the saving of the settings not working when it was the EPG that originally triggered the settings page. I've no idea why this is, it works on every other hardware we have tested, maybe it can't write to the USB fo...

When it crashes does it give you the option to submit an error report?
If so can you make sure you submit the report and then pm me your IP address and I'll have a look what is going on.

Re: TV on the joggler?
As one of the developers of the TVCatchup EPG addon I'd be interested to know how people are getting on with it on the Joggler (I really should set up one of my Jogglers so I can test it but there just aren't enough hours in the day!) The EPG does actually have a touch screen mode, unfortunately it ...

Re: Streaming video from UPnP Server
@ddichiera If you look in the directory where you installed iplayer there is a file called iplayer.cgi, towards the bottom of this file is this line ./tango "http://www.bbc.co.uk/emp/10player.swf?config_settings_bitrateFloor=0&config_settings_bitrateCeiling=10000&config_settings_guidanc...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler
Thought I would add my experience to thread. About a week before Xmas the power to the house tripped (due to a dodgy aquarium pump), then whilst rebooting the power tripped again. After this the Joggler would freeze on the (dull) Open Peak logo. I tried the reflashing tool which seemed to work, howe...

Running Chumby Apps
I think it was discussed on the previous forum but there doesn't seem to be any mention over here about Chumby Apps (see here http://www.chumby.com/guide ) so I thought I would bring the subject up for those who didn't realize that many Chumby Apps can be run of the Joggler. As far as I can see, by ...

Re: Remote Control with SqueezePlay on Joggler?
You should also be able to use one of these: http://www.flirc.tv/ I use one for my windows XBMC setup, it is an ingenious device that, from what I can tell, emulates a programmable USB keyboard by turning IR signals into key presses. Basically find a remote that has all the buttons you need (I use t...

Re: Plug n Pimp gone (need to fix my sound!)?
As gegs says site looks like it is still up.
However, to use external sound card without mixer (prevents loss of audio after a few hours) you need your /etc/asound.conf file to look like this:
pcm.!default {
type hw
card 1
}

Re: Messaging tone disappears after PnP (orig OS)
Oh my word. I've just solved it kind of. It was because I'd replaced the icon with a different one. Restoring the original icon.swf restored full messaging notification. How bizarre! Any idea why this might be the case? That is bizarre. Can't think why that would have happened, unless something was...

Re: Native OS Icons
Actually it wouldn't be that difficult to create a swf that loads in a fixed filenamed png in the same directory as the swf and darkens it on pressing. This would allow people to have functioning buttons without having to compile the swf simply by putting the swf and whatever png they want in the s...

Re: Lost icons
Can you post the output of
cat /media/appshop/applications.xml
And I'll see what is wrong in it.
To get you icons back assuming you followed the installation steps and created a backup you can just do this:
cd media/appshop
applications.original mv applications.xml
Hope that helps.
