Gave up on this. Too taxing for my little brain. Returned to running Kodi from Xubuntu as an auto-starting app.

Re: Removing items from Joggler

I'm confused. Are you running SqueezePlayOS which just boots into the SqueezePlay app or PnP III? By the reference to 'The Lounge' radio, it appears you are running PnP III. Some radio stations do not work at the moment on this. Have a read up about the SqueezePlayOS (which if you just want radio is...

Re: Looking for PnP 1 and 2

Even I don't have a copy of PnP MkII any more and I made it! Sorry! Download PnP III instead. It has everything from PnP and PnP Mk II that still works, plus loads of other bits too. You can edit the /files/pnp3op.sh (or pnp3o2.sh) file too to customize the install too. What was it you wanted from P...

Re: Removing items from Joggler

I'd recommend the PnP III thread (although I am slightly biased) or if it's just radio you're after then SqueezePlayOS is the way to go.

Re: Kodi (Formerly XBMC) Dev/Beta Builds

Forgive my ignorance, but can Kodi be installed on Ubuntu Base version without desktop or superfluous stuff installed (ie in the same way SQPos works)? Is everything I'd need in the image (gfx/sound drivers etc)? Hooking up a keyboard/mouse etc isn't a problem and I know how to configure networking ...

Re: Kodi (Formerly XBMC) Dev/Beta Builds

Did the install work ok without error - and video playback etc ? I haven't connected to any shares yet, but Kodi appeared to install (and autoruns) fine. The superb iPlayer plugin works flawlessly too. I guess issues I'm having with ITV Player not always connecting to live streams are to do with th...

Re: Kodi (Formerly XBMC) Dev/Beta Builds

What skin are you using Dave ? And are you using touchscreen? Or mouse ? Just wondering . I'm using the default skin at the moment. Just about OK with my fingers. I would really like some sort of clock screensaver now. I have set Kodi to run automatically at startup on a 16Gb stick (partitions exte...

Re: Kodi (Formerly XBMC) Dev/Beta Builds

Just getting to grips with Kodi on the Kitchen Joggler running XUbuntu, so forgive my ignorance in any postings about this or Xubuntu. ITV Player plugin seems tempermental. I seemed to find that if I used the tip from http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=152888&page=17, changing the file /hom...

...you could also try editing "/etc/modprobe.d/joggler.conf" and swapping round the wifi drivers. # rt2800usb is the kernel wireless driver. was problematic on older # kernels but may be better on newer than the vendor driver. # rt2870sta is the vendor driver packaged on the joggler ppa #...

DEFINITIVE METHOD FOR ADDING ACCUWEATHER TO PRE-V3.50d

Well I've been around here for 4+ years and have only this morning discovered the use of attachments!  Here is the definitive method for updating ANY older versions (pre-v3.50d) of PnP III to allow Accuweather locations to be added via the Joggler Webserver Telnet/Putty in to the Jogg...

Re: PnP III v3.50: Enhance the standard OS - DOWNLOAD HERE!

Right, if it doesn't work for you I suspect that MediaFire recognises I uploaded the file from my IP address and therefore lets me download but no-one else. Will look for alternatives tomorrow. Yep, seems that my generated link only works from my IP. Sorry. Edit: 9th April 2015, 10:45am UPDATE ACCUW...

Re: PnP III v3.50: Enhance the standard OS - DOWNLOAD HERE!

I did what you suggested via telnet but now the page says: Error 500: Internal Server Error CGI program sent malformed HTTP headers: [] That is very strange. I deliberately corrupted the control.cgi file on one of my Jogglers to reproduce the error you had (which it does when the control.cgi file i...
