More like proof of concept but it works.

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
This is the problem:) Try to make your local.rc look like: #!/bin/sh -e # # rc.local # # This script is executed at the end of each multiuser runlevel. # Make sure that the script will "exit 0" on success or any other # value on error. # # In order to enable or disable this script just cha...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
I think my suggestion should work. DHCP pushes also DNS info so it should work. But if you can test it it would be even better so I can integrate dynamic DNS into next release. I don not know why on your system doe not start XBMC automatically. I have checked image v0.9 and it is ok. How does your /...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
I think so, I've got lms on my pc and v0.8 can see it but that's as far as it goes before hanging. I know iLLiac4 has tweaked xsqueeze in v0.9 but as I've added some repos, and the os is running well, I'm not rushing to upgrade yet unless xsqueeze is working so would be grateful to hear from others...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
Thanks for the help. X tries to start, but then drops back to the console - I see an error of Could not init logging classes. Permission errors on ~/.xbmc As it couldn't find my home directory, then ~ = / for my current login, so that doesn't seem right? Should I be logged in as root or joggler? [E...

Just installed .9 version and it will not connect to the internet over wifi, not tried ethernet yet. I can confirm that it is definately on my network as I can ping it, SSH in, connect via Putty etc, it just refuses to connect to the outside world! Any ideas? Hmm I think I know where could be the p...

Version 0.9 is on its way. Links will follow soon. What is new in ver 0.9: - added AirPlay support (tested with iPad to send music, photos, videos and it works great), - added .flac file play support, - added samba support, so you can easy copy files from PC to Joggler (by default it works with WOR...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
Well there will be some changes in the next release. I will not add TVCatchup by default but can add a repository so you can add it by yourself. You can also upload repository with f.e. WinSCP and get access to file system on Joggler. The photo shows how to configure WinSCP. For upload of files I su...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
Hello. I thought I'd try this out (v0.8) tonight but am having a bit of trouble and can't get it to work. I may be doing something wrong. I've added wifi details in programs and it says I'm connected but it isn't downloading anything - is there a step I'm not doing? Thanks. Edit: It says 'busy' in ...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
This looks excellent and will make a lot of people very happy!! With regards wifi management have you tried the Network Manger (this is what is currently used to enable wifi on RaspBMC); http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add-on:Network-Manager Also with regards Squeezeplay, you could have a look...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
I think I have solved the network with wireless and wired LAN. Now both are working (DHCP). You can now also have two IP adresses at the same time. Configurable from inside XBMC (wireless).
Image will be available tomorrow for download.

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
I was thinking in direction to run it from inside XBMC with some scripting as I have already implemented possibility to launch scripts from inside XBMC. It could work the way from XBMC into Squeezeplay, but then it must be done also in reverse order, so from Squeezeplay into XBMC. Maybe will try in ...

Re: [RELEASE] XBMC for O2 Joggler
Wifi is not working ATM at least not user friendly. I will describe how you can get it run already now :) With root account you can do everything so you have to now what are you doing. For example login as root with WinSCP and you can edit all files without restrictions. Some gurus do not like that....
