Re: Spotty plugin problem with squeezeplay os
Ah, you say "modded". Have you done the internal spdif soldering mod or are you using a spdif/usb convertor? When I have used the latter I had to install Triode's EDO plugin on the Joggler and that required LMS to be installed. I can't remember if there was enough room on the RAM for all t...

Re: Spotty plugin problem with squeezeplay os
If you want to easily upgrade, I would suggest Squeezeplay OS v3.03 on a USB flash Drive. Some linux skills are required, but nothing daunting and it is mostly copy and paste. So I would suggest, first obtain a usb2 stick (I have always found these to be better than usb3) 8gb is enough and I would s...

Re: Spotty plugin problem with squeezeplay os
It is possible to update LMS but space constraints on the internal ram make it difficult. It is necessary to do either a fresh install of the SqueezePlay OS and then install LMS via Putty on the command line. It might be possible to purge Logitechmediaserver via the command line and then reinstall a...

Re: Spotty plugin problem with squeezeplay os
Are you selecting the bit rate on the Joggler?
As far as I am aware the default bit rate is 320 and one has to be a Premium subscriber?

Re: can joggler PLAY DSD stream with a ES9028Q2M USB DAC
Just to add that to play DSD from a Joggler I used the following set-up about two years ago to play some sample DSD files from a link that I have long since lost. I think they were played backed as DOP or something (I can't remember). A litttle google finds a link https://www.audiostream.com/content...

Re: can joggler PLAY DSD stream with a ES9028Q2M USB DAC
Depends on what OS you are using on the Joggler and if there is a driver for it Xubuntu would probably be the one to test on first then Squeezeplay OS after if that works . Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk I have Squeezeplay OS on the joggler. just don't know how to use it to steam DSD files....

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
When you sort the apt-get do sudo apt-get install libio-socket-ssl-perl libnet-ssleay-perl and then try the Spotty Spotify implementation for Squeezebox in the 3rd party plugins, make sure there is no official Spotify selected in the "Active Plugins" list and you must be a Spotify Premium ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
First, make sure you have the correct download for the internal squeezeplay, http://birdslikewires.co.uk/download/openframe/squeezeplay/os/v3/sqpos303_of1.img.gz and http://birdslikewires.co.uk/download/openframe/squeezeplay/os/v3/sqpos303_of1.img.gz.md5 it sounds like you have, but check anyway. If...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Just to add that it all works better from the USB. I have recently used one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/Transcend-Ultra-Compact-Drive-JetFlash/dp/B00GSIFO68/ref=sr_1_2?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1507581766&sr=1-2&keywords=jetflash+510 without a problem. What I have done in the pas...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
If you have an instance of LMS runnining on another computer then, when the link to MySqueezeboxdot com fails (which it nearly always does) you can switch libraries and connect to that other LMS. Complete the set up and then on the Squeezeplay install the LMS which is version 7.8 all deb. when this ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Thanks Pete, will give it a try Ronnie - I'm using v3.03 but the V2 from here http://birdslikewires.co.uk/squeezeplay-os - correct? I used the one for internal memory http://birdslikewires.co.uk/download/openframe/squeezeplay/os/v3/sqpos303_of2.img.gz I seem to remember that both operations took qu...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
I bought a v2 with front speakers version (OpenFrame 7E) from eBay. I've attempted to flash it numerous times using different USB sticks and redownloading both the v2 image and the flashing image. The flashing process seems to run smoothly but when I restart it freezes at the OpenPeak splash screen...

Re: Mediaserver Debian Version
The default Squeezeplay LMS install was v7.8. I don't know if this has been changed yet by roobarb because I think v7.8 [urlhttp://downloads.slimdevices.com/LogitechMediaServer_v7.8.0/][/url] has been replaced by v.7.9 http://downloads.slimdevices.com/LogitechMediaServer_v7.9.0/ but everyone should ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Make sure you have enough spare space on the USB stick.
