Re: RadioFeeds UK & Ireland (Internet Radio) for P'n'P III

A few stations have already been made available on mp3 such as BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru, BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Radio Foyle and BBC Radio nan Gaidheal.
More should be following shortly, including the BBC locals.

Re: RadioFeeds UK & Ireland (Internet Radio) for P'n'P III

Here's some good news:
The BBC local radio stations will be moving from WMA to mp3 format meaning they will soon be playable through RadioFeeds on SqueezePlay.
The official date is towards the end of the year, but hopefully, the mp3 streams will be ready ahead of schedule.

Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - Download & details he

EDIT: Oh, this links to the Squeezeplay plugin. Do the instructions at http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/joggler/feedaaaaaaaaaaa.asp still work for the Lounge Radio app? I had a play with it since upgrading to PNPIII. For some reason, the lists are not affected after applying the changes. I can't explain...

Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - Download & details he

Just reinvigorated my Joggler - a belated thanks to everyone who has got us here. A question about the Lounge radio app - it now works really well and once again plays at normal speed :-) But, some of the streams don't work quite right yet - is there a centralised .xml file of working stations or i...

Re: RadioFeeds UK & Ireland (Internet Radio) for P'n'P III

Cheers for the kind words, everyone.
Can I just ask if the procedure is *exactly* the same for SqueezePlay OS?
I might update the first post to reflect this.

EDIT: I understand an SSH server needs to be installed, which takes about 5 minutes. Just so I can picture it, how is this done?

Re: RadioFeeds UK & Ireland (Internet Radio) for P'n'P III

Cheers for the kind words, offbeatdave.
Just so I know, what are the difficulties in getting MPlayer on the Joggler.
Is there a lack of space, is it the installation mechanism (e.g. no Linux console) or is it something else?

RadioFeeds UK & Ireland (Internet Radio) for P'n'P III

Since O2 provided new software for their Jogglers in Spring 2012, users have no longer able to access the Internet Radio (Lounge) app. Many users then decided to install Plug 'n' Pimp Mk III onto their Jogglers in order to get the Internet Radio function back. Whilst this is good, it cannot play AAC...

Re: PnP III for pre/post OpenPeak update Jogglers - Get it h

I do agree that it would be great to have Mplayer but its absence doesn't stop you listening to BBC; it would be useful for other services though, like Napster (which used to stream in WMA - but I'm not sure since it was taken over by Rhapsody). RadioFeeds is more than just BBC, as I'm sure you're ...

Re: PnP III for pre/post OpenPeak update Jogglers - Get it h

It plays whichever streams the Joggler always played - no more or no less. There are some it can't play. The only thing that's stripped down are (hopefully) unnecessary/unused files in the installation. LMS acts as a server (which, if on a full OS, has the ability to transcode). As I have actually ...

Right, but that's editing the on-board XML file rather than pointing to the XML file that I'm hosting.
I'll have a play the next few nights.

Re: PnP III for pre/post OpenPeak update Jogglers - Get it h

I've been away from the Jogglerwiki forums for quite a while, so please bear with me whilst I try and figure out what's been happening for the past year or so! :p I just wanted to ask about LMS in PnP III. I understand that everything's being trimmed down to allow for more space. Does LMS offer WMA ...

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April

I managed to get the old modified radio (the one where you can edit an xml file for alternate streams) installed but the volume control slider no longer appears. The only way to change volume is to.... Home -> Settings -> Audio -> Volume -> Slider -> Ok ...every time you want to adjust the volume. ...

If you've got Logitech Media Server running, it should be playable as long as you've opted for it to transcode to mp3.

I get small sparks when the sand comes in contact with metal casing (such as on a satellite set-top box which I have next to mine).
But yes, I get mild zaps from it at times.

Re: o2 app radio stations stopped working

Did you happen to faff about with a config file that was meant to reduce crackly audio (as seen in the BBC iPlayer thread)?
I notice I accidentally applied a wrong config, and all internet stations claimed they couldn't connect.
I just undid that change and all came back again.
