Problems playing 48kHz sample rate

I have PnP III on my Joggler and using Squeezeplay, I get an unsupported sample rate error when I try to play a radio stream that uses 48kHz sampling rate. I read that some files can be modified to force the Joggler to play them at 44.1kHz. Does anyone know what needs to be done to get 48kHz streams...

Re: Fixing BBC iPlayer LMS Plugin

Log in with your console app of choice, then: 1. Install avconv (this handles format conversion, so the receiver always gets something it can play): sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libav-tools lame sudo ln -s /usr/bin/avconv /usr/local/bin/ffmpeg I've fallen at the first hurdle. joggler@op...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame

vinnie, Right, found an external 16 Gb usb stick. Do you want EDO on the Squeezeplay? Also, do you want LMS v7.9 and would you like me to configure the LMS with the BBC iPlayer and BBC iPlayer Extra plugins, Spotify, Podcasts, NPR, or do you want to do that yourself? Ooh, 16. Overkill! Thanks, anyw...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame

I presume you want a USB stick (I'll use one of 16Gb that I linked to) which will contain a boot partition (by default), a root partition.also by default (expanded to allow room for future upgrades, say 4GB), a partition for your music Folder and maybe a swap partition (2GB maybe) (whatever and how...

Well, if you could get me a pre-configured SqueezePlay OS 4GB stick (with unallocated space made available for music storage), then there could be a beer in it for you! :)

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame

OK, I've now reluctantly used GParted and have managed to get 3GB on my Linux partition.
Unfortunately, I'm still getting the errors on installation of LMS.
Photo of log attached.

Any other ideas?

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame

Try with a bigger USB stick than 2GB (heck, do they still make 'em that small?) I use 8GB Sandisk ones and I've not had a problem installing LMS. Just had another go with a 4GB stick and when trying to install LMS I'm getting the error: Errors were encountered while processing: /tmp/logitechmediase...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame

I can confirm that in the partition I see on Windows, it's only 31MB in size, with 20MB free . Is that too low? Has anyone else managed to install LMS on a 2GB stick? You're only seeing the FAT boot partition in Windows. It can't read the linux partition, although you should be able to see it as an...

Re: RadioFeeds UK & Ireland (Internet Radio) for SqueezePlay

Great! It's not something I@ve tried myself yet (still looking for a USB stick larger than 2GB so I can install LMS as well!) I'd be interested to know if the HLS streams play OK after installing all the necessary bits, namely avconv and PlayHLS and associated configs. (You'll find the HLS streams u...

Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - THAT'S ALL FOLKS!

Many thanks from me as well. It was a great deal of use when O2 pushed out that awful update and made our Jogglers pretty much near useless.
You gave it life again for many years since!

RadioFeeds UK & Ireland (Internet Radio) for SqueezePlay OS

Some of you SqueezePlay OS users may have already come across RadioFeeds UK & Ireland as an app in the mysqueezebox App Gallery. This app is good (and I would say that!), but this app doesn't provude access to AAC+ streams. We have also made a plugin for LMS that lists the AAC+ streams as well. ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame

Trying SqueezePlay OS for the first time (onto 2GB USB). Not going as smoothly as I would have liked. 1) It seems to keep losing connectivity to mysqueezebox, which shows as timing out when loading menu items. 2) I also can't seem to install LMS from the SqueezePlay menu.. it reports as installing i...
