This may be worth more investigation, especially if it will run XBMC.

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
As I use Squeezeplay as the only OS on one of my Jogglers I would like to install it as the OS. Are there any instructions for doing this?

Re: THINGS TO TRY IF DATE/TIME/INTERNET DON'T WORK
After a frustrating couple of days trying to get Joggler No.2 in the kitchen to pick up the time from an ntp source I might have stumbled on a partial reason. Wifi signal strength. I tried to set up the network connection again only to get an error message about not being able to connect to the inte...

Re: THINGS TO TRY IF DATE/TIME/INTERNET DON'T WORK
*Changing the primary time server to uk.pool.ntp.org and leaving it (and then the interface automatically picks up the time) Managed to update Joggler No.2 but had the time not setting issue. Changing the time server worked for me but as a quick tip use uk.pool.ntp.org for both primary AND secondar...

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
Try some more USB sticks as I tried a few before I found one my Joggler liked.

Woking fine here. The DHCP issue is odd as I had to switch to manual config to add IP address, etc but the DNS fields were already populated with the correct info.

Re: PnP III for pre/post OpenPeak update Jogglers - Get it h
Just installed P'n'P mkIII on my recently 'updated' Joggler. I previously had some apps installed and I have some duplicates.
There were some unable to make dirs during the install but all seems to be working fine.
Now if I could only Telnet into my other one everything would be dandy.

Re: o2 Family Calendar - finding alternatives?
Is there any way to access your o2 family calendar via the o2 website? Maybe you can export all the data to save you having to re-enter it.

*Install of Logitech Media Server can be prevented by #'ing out the relevant part of the pnp3op.sh or pnp3o2.shx files on the USB stick (in the files directory) before installing. Can someone let me know if I #out all section relating to Logitech Media Server or just certain line and do I do it in ...

Re: Enabling Telnet access post May update..
The Telnet issue seems linked to rebooting the device after the update. My second Joggler had updated to the new firmware at some point yesterday so I checked to see if Telnet is active and it is! Having what seemed like a partial update on my first Joggler (missing icons, etc) I tried to update it ...

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April
If you unplug and replug in the Joggler do the icons come back? If not you can probably do the upgrade again via the menu choice if it is there? Mine has not updated here in the US. I have replugged it and tried to update it but 'Tools' and 'Games' still don't have an icon and just a blank space. S...

Re: o2 Family Calendar - finding alternatives?
You can set Gcal to auto accept invites I think. So a bit of setting up to get the accounts ready (auto invites, SMS notifications, etc.) would be needed.

Re: o2 Family Calendar - finding alternatives?
I think to get what you need your best bet would be to set up google calendars for each family member and a 'family' calendar to display on the Joggler. You then add the appointments etc to the family calendar and invite the relevant people to the event. This should then put it in their calendar and...

Re: o2 Family Calendar - finding alternatives?
Google calendar it a good replacement as should be able to do what you need but it might take a bit of work. I know that it does SMS reminders so some tinkering with either shared or group calendars should do what you need.

Re: SqueezePlay OS for Joggler
As my Joggler was running Squeezeplay 99% of the time this is a great fix for the new firmware. I've currently got it running from a usb stick but is there a way to install it as the native OS. I know it's been mentioned a few times but can seem to find any instructions.

One of my Jogglers updated the morning after being turn off for a couple of days and I think it has only partially updated as there is blank space and missing icons: https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/nntWFacIXhHj8GMCMT7gmGDKzPsti5EJpoqN8PzazzFoH1iZnBKBhb-4L0-8zeVLUHvwo8ow6nk BBC live is still there ...
