Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
Good news! Compiling worked yesterday so I'm currently compiling Android-x86 *with* source patches. Unfortunately, as this is a rebased release, I don't think that I will be able to release system.img only (it will contain tweaks outside of system) but after that I'm looking at releasing system.img ...

I will do so now.zuccster wrote:I've just spotted a beta of MoboPlayer for x86, but I've not had a chance to try it yet.
Has anyone else?
By the way, Android-X86 is currently compiling (without source changes) to see if I've finally mastered the art of setting up a build environment...

Not sure if people have seen this or not, but it looks interesting:

Is the method we use for Windows on the Joggler at the moment?

Re: MineCraft Server
Haha this is awesome- typically I've just bought a server :O This'll do for a LAN party me and some friends are organising in November - limited outgoing bandwidth at the place we are hosting it so if I can have one of these linked up to a network switch it'll do nicely :D We should get a Joggler Ow...

Haven't sent the email yet, I'll add a request for the fh driver at the end.BuZz wrote:they may well send the file they released before though. specifically it misses the "fh" kernel module which is the one we need.

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
Hi all, Been pretty busy over the past few days, so I didn't get much done - until I sat down on Friday night, where I accidentally deleted the ICS repo while messing around with VMs in Ubuntu. Unhappy is an understatement... So, I'm going to re-download the repo tomorrow (while my PC isn't being us...

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April
Yeh, that's the sort of things I expect - but thanks for trying. You might do better to contact openpeak directly - certainly they should be able to provide source for the missing module to write the efi. whether they will though is another matter. You may be better talking to OpenPeak - it's their...

Re: O2: Updating O2 Joggler on 30th April
No, the fact they acknowledge our existence on this forum makes me think they won't lock it down, and I think this is the end of life update, no more after this. Don't bother trying to ask them.. I sent them this email: Hello, I have an O2 Joggler, and I understand that there will be an update to i...

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
In respinse to hawsey, I struggled with the instructions for Mijuu's 2nd alpha, but got it working eventually. I've zipped up the correct combination of files - unzip the contents to a FAT formatted USB of at least 2GB and plug into your Joggler, then power up and it'll boot straight into ICS. Not ...

Hi all,
I've been away for the past week (got back late last night!). I'll start building again today.
Great work with the ethernet mohansen! Do you mind if I include that in the next build?

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
Awesome news! x86 android in general should be getting better soon once the arm emulator layer of bluestacks beta is figured out. (my personal speculation, but it should be) :D I think so as well :D Source downloaded, applying patches and building at the moment. Source downloaded and disappeared......

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
Currently syncing Android-x86 ICS repo - up to wallpapers so I think it's nearly done
After that, I'll build it with patches (and OpenPeak wifi driver) to check it works and then see what I can do about SuperUser

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
I tried it in a joggler and it worked ok , interestingly it came up with the same error messages but didn't get stuck after setting the MAC address. Maybe the problem is something to do with the ethernet driver? has anyone seen the problem before and worked out how to fix it? thanks Nick Hi! I've j...

Touch screen was ok when I gave it a go, more apps working, nice quick browser still. It wouldn't remember wireless settings etc tho. Think this one is ready for the Jazzmod treatment now with market pretty please so us less technical sorts can give it a whirl. ;-) Advantage of JazzMod - at the mom...

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
Good news! Mijuu's replied and he's said he is going to release the source :D Also, ICS 4.0.3 Alpha2 for Joggler is out - http://www.mporting.com/2012/03/ics-4-0-3-for-joggler-alpha2/ , it adds lots of stuff including fixing SystemUI crashes and GApps by default. I'll still work on JazzMod though, b...

Re: Tutorial for adding Flash games to your Joggler
Nice tutorial! My Joggler is still stock (stick to USB installs) but that may change one day
It appears all you have to do nowadays is mention the word "games" in a title and the spambots arrive!michelparth112 wrote:(removed quoted spambot spam)

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
Anyway, i'm tryin' to watch some avi/mpg4 file, but i didn't find anything on market (i remember a nice app called RockPlayer but probably it's not available for x86 platform) Any idea? Did you have any luck finding a video player that works? Haven't heard anything about one :( Still no reply from ...
