Re: Ubuntu: Popup keyboard on text fields - quick howto.
Thanks for this info kappa :D i will be trying this out sometime soon . I have enabled this on florence which vastly improves matters when you are using the touch screen but it is still not the same keyboard experience you get on Android , hopefully this will be a bit more like that and I could pack...

Re: USB Tuner
I tried it ages ago with a little DVB tuner on an earlier Ubuntu build. It worked but I gave up pretty quickly because the TV antenna signal at the back of my house (where the kitchen Joggler is) is pretty atrocious. Depending on the weather conditions, sometimes a station would play seamlessly and...

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
The other download extracted OK. I used unetbootin to write to the USB but there was no difference to the OS when I booted up!! Do you mean from Mijuu's build or did it boot to the stock OS? I use https://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer for writing images rather than unetbootin - had far more succ...

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
I'm downloading now - very excited to see what the differences are! Slightly worried though as I'm running 1.2.4 and have had no issues with it... Would advise you make a back up first or use another stick /boot device :) Lots of apps not working yet that work on 1.2,4 and 3. What it will do is giv...

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - LINK UP)
Also, while I'm thinking about it, this is how I plan to release new versions: When I've finished it (and tested it), I'll place a copy of the system.img (in a zip again) on some sort of download site (probably BuZz's FTP server if he doesn't mind?). That system.img can just be drag-and-dropped int...

Re: possibly free power supply
New power supply ordered , fingers crossed they didn't ask many questions , just a simple form and hit send .
I woluld imagine if they have any in stock due to re ordering because of faulty ones they probably have a mountain of them
Will post back if one turns up.

Re: Mijuu-based JazzMod ICS v1.0 (Working Market! - RELEASED

For anyone wanting a stableish build of android the fixed 1.2.3...
