Re: can joggler PLAY DSD stream with a ES9028Q2M USB DAC
Just to add that to play DSD from a Joggler I used the following set-up about two years ago to play some sample DSD files from a link that I have long since lost. I think they were played backed as DOP or something (I can't remember). A litttle google finds a link https://www.audiostream.com/conten...

Re: can joggler PLAY DSD stream with a ES9028Q2M USB DAC
Squeezeplay OS is built on the back of a very lightweight Xubuntu build so that it fits on the Jogglers internal memory . If you put Xubuntu which has Squeezeplay built in to it on to a memory stick first then you can see if you can get your set up working like that first , then if you can it can't...

Re: can joggler PLAY DSD stream with a ES9028Q2M USB DAC
Depends on what OS you are using on the Joggler and if there is a driver for it Xubuntu would probably be the one to test on first then Squeezeplay OS after if that works . Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk I have Squeezeplay OS on the joggler. just don't know how to use it to steam DSD files....

Re: Hi-Fi system on Joggler
@Hawsey Here I utilized GParted to delete old partitions on an old mini HP USB stick. I then prepped it and formatted it to Fat32. After that I changed the flags on it to boot and LBA. Having done that I just copied over the ISO files and mickchip files. Working with the author now to redo this spe...

Re: Hi-Fi system on Joggler
Just found out it will not work on a standard Joggler, the one I was using had the multi boot menu on it. The only way I could get it to boot on a standard one was to connect a hub with a keyboard and the stick plugged in, switch on the joggler and keep pressing ESC until the numlock light comes on...

Re: Hi-Fi system on Joggler
The image you write on the USB stick works with EFI or old booting using MBR. I didn't change the image other than these VGA= pieces. The issue relating to the video stuff would be the same if I got it to boot with the EFI boot rom. Another thing you would try maybe is to SSH (if you can) to a runn...

Re: Hi-Fi system on Joggler
Yup; if you go low res and watch about half way through the loading the video flickers once and it either hangs there or goes to a kernel panic. I'd be appreciated if you can upload the files need to be added to the usbstick then I can have a try. thanks a lot Have you got more than one Joggler ? Y...

Re: Hi-Fi system on Joggler
It starts to boot using coreboot fine changing the syslinux.cfg vga=786 or vga=normal. It lets me configure everything. Then it goes to trash video or a kernel panic and doesn't start. I suddenly realized that it might be a misunderstanding when you say it appears to trash video. because when the s...
