Re: 4x OpenPeak 7E on E Bay Sold out
Will these take flashing squeezeplay OS to internal memory, anyone done this? Does the the wireless work in this setup? Wireless works fine. According to Rhubarb's page https://birdslikewires.uk/squeezeplay-os , yes you can use the internal memory. I haven't yet tried, ran it from a pendrive. The l...

Re: 4x OpenPeak 7E on E Bay Sold out
Hi All There's a few more now Andrew Thanks for the heads up - I have bought one of these, hopefully it will arrive by the end of the day. I intend to use it for run SqueezeplayOS, like our 'Kitchen Joggler', but instead of having external DAC & Amp, using the onboard speakers, as a sort of 'lo...

Re: PnP III v3.60 July 2017 Update
Hi Craig [lots of good stuff snipped] Thanks, that's all very helpful and makes sense of a few things. Thanks for taking the trouble to find this out. Those are some useful links as well, thanks for those. I have a bit of an interest in audio formats etc. but am a bit out of date. DASH streams are s...

Re: PnP III v3.60 July 2017 Update (Radio App problems)
Hi Craig Thanks for your work on this - I am amused to see my quick hack to stop the 'phone home' problem getting incorporated into a proper SW release ;-) One thing - I am unable to get the loung radio app to work properly. All the stations I have tried (exclusively BBC National stations FWIW) sta...

Re: CRON
I noticed some discussion about cron (scheduled tasks) a while back, so I built Debian's cron and crontab for the Joggler OS as they appear to be MIA. I've not done anything meaningful with these yet, but attached them in case anyone else wants to do something with them. I'm thinking about periodic...

Re: PnP III v3.50: Enhance the standard OS - DOWNLOAD HERE!
I've blocked the Openpeak URL on my router. Simply deleting the relevant XML file did not work for me. This method seems to have stopped the icons from disappearing for now. Hmm, that's interesting. So far just renaming the XML has worked for me (touch wood) I guess there is mileage in changing the...

Very :-) @keynet thanks for sharing your fixes / work on this . Any chance of persuading you to do a new build Dave ,Including this stuff ? I would agree with this... and donate as well. I did a full reflash/PnP install and it's been fine for about a week. However, tonight it must have "phoned...

Re: PnP III v3.50: Enhance the standard OS - DOWNLOAD HERE!
[...] My working assumption is that the Joggler is "calling home" daily for updates etc, but home is ... well dead. The file /openpeak/gui/appshop.xml includes a call to http://op01.openpeak.net/openpeak This site now does some useless advertising redirect. After trying a few things, my s...

Re: PnP III v3.50: Enhance the standard OS - DOWNLOAD HERE!
No idea what caused this to happen! I haven't built in a 2-year self-destruct or anything! I didn't reflash - just used WinSCP to reinstate the following lines in openpeak/gui/applications.xml <app id="launcher" static="1" ext="1" standalone="1" loc="/me...

Re: PnP III v3.50: Enhance the standard OS - DOWNLOAD HERE!
Hi All - it's quiet here at the moment but I have an interesting/wacky story... My 'standard' Kitchen Joggler runs PNP III, and as been fine for a few years, except for occasionally need reflashing when corrupted (usually when power cycled too quickly). As mentioned in my post above, I have had 'dom...

Re: PnP III v3.50: Enhance the standard OS - DOWNLOAD HERE!
Hi All a slightly off-the-wall observation question. I'm happily running PnP III as a kitchen appliance, playing radio, squeezeplayer to the NAS, and a few games for the granddaughter. Apart from having to occassionally re-flash everything when the Joggler flash gets corrupted, all seems fine. Hovev...

Go set ? whats that ? Go as in the Japanes game of go https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_%28game%29 . It is a really nice set with a large board and glass stones etc. The Joggler i got i saw from 100 yards ha ha piled on top of a load of junk , i swiftly laid my claim to it , it was in surprisingly g...

Re: £6 pound Joggler
Close but no cigar 8-) I don't think my £1.50 joggler will be beaten http://www.jogglerwiki.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2020 No power supply but Pete sorted that for me ... Excellent work! I keep hoping to come across one at one of the local Car Boot sales, but sadly not yet. Though I do pretty well ...

Re: £6 pound Joggler
Not me, but I did get a fully working example of one of the 'betting shop' ones for a tenner recently. Sans power supply (I have a few); someone locally had bought the joggler and never got around to doing anything with it. I was pleased

Re: RadioFeeds UK & Ireland (Internet Radio) for P'n'P III
Hi guys / gals I use the built in radio on PNP III on the built in Pure Lounge app and this morning I now get a message saying they moved to mp3 , is this fixable within the radio app or will I have to go down the squeeze play or xbmc route ? Cheers I too had something similar in the week (on R2 on...
