Re: New Android Build?
I eventually gave up on Android for the Joggler the last time I tried it, everything FC'd & the Market wouldn't connect. Hope this one turns out better!

Re: Dead Joggler
You're going to have to restore it by booting from an Ubuntu stick. Open Terminal & enter: sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/mmcblk0 bs=10M (this will zero-fill the flash memory & is a nuclear option) then: sudo mkdir /backup cd /backup sudo wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1107587/part_table cat par...

Re: Dead Joggler
It involves desoldering & removing chips from the printed circuit board then flashing them. It's not a job for a novice. You will probably end up just using your Joggler as a doorstop.

Re: Remote Control with SqueezePlay on Joggler?
Get a cheap Android phone & install the Squeezebox or Squeeye Commander app then you can use it as a remote. AFAIK there is no other way.
I recently got a T-Mobile Pulse Mini for 20 quid - it has a horrible resistive touch screen but is more than adequate as a remote for Squeezeplay!

Re: New Joggler not updating o2 software
Boot into one of the Ubuntu distros using a USB stick so that you have the time to do the following. Do one line at a time,it seems to hang but give it time and it works no problem. Code: wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1107587/app-o2flash-26635.8686-S3-f1-reimage.tgz tar xvfz app-o2flash-26635.8686-S3...

Re: Official free Squeezebox controller for Android
That'll annoy the developer of (paid-for) Squeeze Commander. I really, really wish there was a port of Squeezeplay for Android. All other Android network music players are cr*p compared to Squeezeplay.

Re: USB - Ubuntu - free space
You cannot partition the disk with Windows if it contains ext4 or btrfs partitions - Windows will not recognise them. You will need to stick an Ubuntu CD in your PC & boot from the CD. Then use gparted to fiddle with the partitions. Don't worry, this will not install anything on your PC.

Re: Angry Birds and other .exe games on Joggler?
The only games like that would be Flash games. There are quite a lot you can download & use PnP's Flash Player to play them. AFAIK there isn't a way to get Angry Birds to run on the native OS. You could always try it with WINE on Ubuntu but I wouldn't expect it to run very well, if at all. EDIT ...

I would be perfectly happy to have the level of advertising you describe - as long as there were no popups or distracting flash adverts!

Re: USB Partition
I followed the instructions too & got the same result. I thought it was just me being too stoopid to follow instructions. In the end I just changed to the ext4 version & used gparted on another linux machine to resize it.
