Re: Android 4.04 build - now fully working!
Hmmm, you're probably going to have to do a reinstall - Google Play won't know what device you have without a build.prop file. You could copy the file from an existing installation (I could email you mine) but you would need to fix permissions for it to work. However, you've no doubt made a backup o...

Re: Android 4.04 build - now fully working!
I seem to remember apps showing up as not compatible is something to do with the build .prop or something like that , so the play store saying its not compatible isn't always true , there is also a site where previous versions of apps are available so you can try these too , I'll post back if I fin...

Re: Android 4.04 build - now fully working!
The preinstalled browser is rubbish and unfortunately Dolphin & Firefox aren't compatible with the Joggler. As Hawsey said just make sure you use Google Play to install any apps.

Re: Android 4.04 build - now fully working!
I don't recommend the earlier build, it's a lot clunkier. Make sure you are using the latest version of win32diskimager too.

Re: Android 4.0 crashes when external speaker powered off
I have a dual boot system with Win7 and Ubuntu. Whenever I have to resize I just boot into Ubuntu and use Gparted, much easier then booting from live dvd etc.. Tested yesterday night by renaming .img.tar to .img via 7zip (which I downloaded for the occasion since I mostly use Jzip) but to no luck. ...

Re: Android 4.0 crashes when external speaker powered off
Yes, most Linux distros have this included on the live CD/DVD. Just be really, really careful you don't accidentally wipe your main OS HDD! http://www.wikihow.com/Use-Gparted
I have an old laptop with Linux Mint which I use for this kind of thing.

Re: Android 4.0 crashes when external speaker powered off
It's all coming back to me now - keep unzipping until you are left with a file named joggler-android-ics - there will be no .img file extension visible in Windows if you have "show file extensions for known file types" turned off. Don't add an .img extension to the file or Windows will thi...

Re: Android 4.0 crashes when external speaker powered off
Yep, that's the one. What size is the disk image you have? It may be too big to upload to Mediafire etc. The one already posted is much smaller as it's had all the empty space removed. I don't know how to do this! PS I'm re-downloading the original Mediafire image to see what's going wrong here. PPS...

Dave , would you know if the BBC Radio app works on this image please :-) I just tried it and it works fine. Another thing to try is installing the Squeezeplayer app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.bluegaspode.squeezeplayer&hl=en and the free Squeezebox app https://play.google....

Re: Android 4.0 crashes when external speaker powered off
Thanks, it's good to have someone who knows about electronics! The speakers and Joggler are powered from the same 4 gang extension lead and the speakers have a meaty big PSU that gets quite hot so I'm sure you're right.
