Re: Satelite Navigation on the Joggler
Hi everyone; finally, with the old hub from my sister, I got the system to work for me, too! Thank you, mickchip! But you guys are 2 steps ahead again - using Win 10.... 2 Questions to this: Since start and shutdown times are important for a car system - is the Win 10 implementation considerably fas...

Re: Satelite Navigation on the Joggler

Hi Hawsey; can you let me know what kind of Trust Hub you have (any ID on the back?). Than I could oder this one and ...

Re: Satelite Navigation on the Joggler
Mick, one (last?) question: Everything works fine when the UBS stick is plugged directly into the Joggler. But when I use a HUB, I can not get it to boot. I tried all 4 ports. Ports 1-3 give a 2 line message on the O2 screen. (cansomething about 0.txt....) On Port#4 USB stick blinks a bit longer, no...

Re: Satelite Navigation on the Joggler
Ohhh - nice!! I can not believe that it worked for you 'out of the box', and it doen't for me.... Can you let me know: 1) with which browser you downloaded the IMG file? (I used Win 10 & Chrome or Edge - not sure) 2) which software you used for putting it on the stick? (I used Win 10 & win32...

Re: Satelite Navigation on the Joggler
I think it must be something at your end, I have now tested it on five EFI jogglers and then deleted the EFI partition, changed the joggler specific files to original and tested on two coreboot / seabios jogglers. All of them work OK. Hi Mick. I agree, it should be on my end, but I am absolutely co...

Re: Satelite Navigation on the Joggler
Try this right click on the mev_navi.img, go to 7zip and open archive. double click on the ntfs file, click the iGO_PC folder and extract to where ever & try to run from the folder you extracted. YES!! This worked! Thank you so much! I used a different folder name, since I could not delete the ...

Re: Satelite Navigation on the Joggler
Even with a new (borrowed) stick it does not work for me.
XP fires up, but igo not.
I will wait and see, if it is my system(s), or if someone else has similar issues.
Maybe comparing setup commonalities etc. will help to solve this.

Re: Satelite Navigation on the Joggler
Hi Mick; thanks for your help - but I can not get it to work... I downloaded the img again and extracted it with your winrar copy. Not luck. However, I noticed some odd things in my install: When I boot the 1st time from a freshly generated image, Windows starts very snappy. When I check the IGO fol...

Re: Satelite Navigation on the Joggler
Thanks for the verification, Mick. I guess I need to spend more time on this. I copied the igo folder to my pc and started it there - same error. on the PC Bad Image would be strange as well, as I unpacked it twice and 7zip gave not errors. Also, Win XP is running otherwise smoothly on the Joggler. ...

Re: Satelite Navigation on the Joggler
Thank you Mickchip! I got the image. And it boots alright.
However, I can not start iGo: When started, it states:
"Initialization error: Loadlanguage failed."
And it stops again...
Any ideas? (Note: I don't have the GPS dongle yet)

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Hi all; happy new year to all - a bit late. I have a question wrt Unix environment of the SqueezePlay OS: I know that LMS uses sqlite - so it should somehow be installed in the system (at least, when I install LMS on the Joggler running SqueezePlay OS). It is also confirmed there, as LMS Information...

Re: Best USB stick for Joggler?
Here I have started to play with microSD cards using them for the new RPi. Purchased a few 16Gb newer fast ones. Will give one a try on the Joggler. I just built a new NAS box using one (Free4NAS) and it appears to be pretty quick. Hi Pete; do I understand correctly? You build a NAS box with a Jogg...

Re: How to get AP working under SPOS v3
Yes, the jogglers std internal Wlan Stick is able to do n-mode - when I used it to connect the Joggler to my network, it was using n mode with speeds >54MMan in a van wrote:...., but are you certain that the Joggler hardware actually supports n mode?

How to get AP working under SPOS v3
Note - Background: This is a continuation of a topic within the SPOSv3 thread - on how to enable the joggler beeing an Access Point for other devices, bridging jogglers LAN & WLAN. I got this working w/ Palindroms prior instructions, however, only in wireless g mode, not n mode.... Can you see t...

Re: Access Point issues
Can you see the WLAN-AP (with a phone and/or tablet)? What exactly is not working? check the devices iwconfig are they wlan0 and eth0? You could try to debug hostapd by issuing: # propbably not needed sudo /usr/bin/killall hostapd # should give you some hints... # sometimes you needed to retry it.....

Access Point issues
Hi Palindrom; very bizarre... I followed exactly the steps from the post above - on a freshly flashed Joggler (w/ SPOS3) The script executed ok (installing the packages, creating the files aso) But: It just does not work. Not the n mode and also not the g mode. (Note: The Joggler & SPOS3 itself ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
