Thanks for your feedback, florca!
Since I am quite ignorant wrt programming aso, I am hoping that offbeatdave will take up the challenge...
.
Let's cross fingers - I think this would be a great enhancement for PNPIII usability.
Cheers, Heiner

SqueezePlay for Joggler multitasking...via Squeezelite??
Hi offbeatdave; can I bring up this old question again? Hi;.... I was wondering, if there is a way to have Squeezeplay running and be able to go back to the main screen to run i.e. an egg timer while Squeezeplay keeps playing music? Kind of like the radio app, which you can have running while return...

Re: Native AAC Squeezebox playback working...
Hi florca; could you also give details on how to implement this similar to your original setup? (i.e. '...running "underneath" the standard roobarb! Squeezeplay on the O2 o/s....') This would be great, since I hope this could be a way to keep Squeezemusic running while using other Apps wit...

Dumb question? SqueezePlay for Joggler multitasking.
Thanks Roobarb & JimbobVFR400 foryour discussion on this; so from what I got from your post, you think Squeezeslave is the only option to go? That woud mean compiling this for Joggler somehow, I guess? That is waaay beyond my scope. (Also, Squeezeslave does only support 44kHz and transcoding is ...

Re: What's the Joggler doing at 6am each morning?
I know that LMS (Server for Squeezeplay) has an option to check for updates (which you can switch off in the settings).
If you have LMS running (which would be the case, if you did a std. PNP III install), it could well be that LMS is checking for updates at that time.
Just a thought....

Re: PnP III: Enhance the standard OS - Download & details he
Doh! Does that mean, we can change the available stations within the Lounge App?? That would be great, since I can not get the UK lokal stations (not allowed as I am located in Germany) and there are other stations I would like to add. Could you help and let me know in which file this needs to be ed...

Re: Audio Line-out
Hi everyone; does anybody have feedback on the original question: Trying to connect the headphone outputs to an amplifier gives absolutely awful sound quality. It seems that the Joggler uses the STAC2902 as its DAC. This seems to have four Audio Ports - 2 for headphone and 2 for Line-Out. Has anyone...
