Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 3) for OpenFrame
Option 2 But, I've never used anything but wifi, and still found foreign' macs in mysb.com account ..... Snap!. Option 2 for me too please. I have just upgraded one of my SQ OS v2 jogglers to V3 and I again got a warning when registering at squeezebox that the mac address was already in use by some...

Re: Joggler KitKat 4.4.2 beta (24/3/14)
I use my Android Joggler mainly as a Squeezebox player/controller and for keeping an eye on email & weather forecasts. Although with your 7 Jogglers you could afford to use each one for a separate app :-) Mmm, sounds interesting. I just runup the kitkat build on a sapre usb stick but can't see ...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 2) for OpenFrame
Or have you got the hubs wireless set to 5GHz? I don't think the internal wireless card on the jogglers can do 5GHz

Hi Jetpac,
You haven't got any sort of MAC filtering enabled on the superhub have you? I have the same hub and have multi jogglers on wireless ok.

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 2) for OpenFrame
I occasionally had this on one of my SQOS v1 jogglers. I haven't seen it since I upgraded it to SQOSv2
(Is this the patch you're thinking off? It turns off the backlight when screen off is chosen as the screensaver - works ok on my SQOSv1 joggler)

Re: Squeezeplay OS and internal Wifi
Does the Netgear WNDA3200 have better range? Is it small enough to fit in the same position as the current internal wifi "stick"?
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 2) for OpenFrame
I am running v2.04 on one of my jogglers. However, when I go to settings->Update to update to v2.06, it says that it is running v1.54 and v1.55 is available? Is this a known issue and is there a quick fix rather than having to reflash the USB stick again, as I have made some tweaks since I installe...

Re: SqueezePlay OS (Version 2) for OpenFrame
Has anyone seen the time on the jogglers jump to 27 Feb 2023? I have had it twice now on the SQ OS v2 joggler in the few days I have been running with it. I have never got this on my other 2 jogglers running SQ OS v1. How weird! The software queries an NTP server whenever the network connection com...

First off roobabrb, thanks for the release. I am trying it out now on one of my jogglers. Has anyone seen the time on the jogglers jump to 27 Feb 2023? Re: Smokescreen
Yep, I have seen this too when the joggler is really cold. It happened shortly after delivery, so probably had been in a cold courier depot all night. Once I let it come up to normal room temperature, the screen was back to normal and it booted up ok. I occasionally see the white/light screen effect...

Re: CCTV Monitoring on Joggler
I have had more luck with chromium.
It runs up pretty much full screen. I only need to view the camera for a short while when someone is at the door, so far have had no issues. You can also set it so the address bar is hidden giving maximum screen area for the camera stream itself.

Re: CCTV Monitoring on Joggler
Still playing about here trying to get my camera stream working but I have found if you drag the lower right corner of the midori window to make it full screen, then exit midori (cleanly), it remembers this size the next time you launch it.

Re: CCTV Monitoring on Joggler
You could do it by having a script running on the Joggler watching for some kind of change, or perhaps a CGI script that waits for an incoming HTTP call. That script could then run Midori when triggered, sleep for a bit, then kill Midori to reveal SqueezePlay again. To have a script running on the ...

Re: CCTV Monitoring on Joggler
Ok, thanks for that roobarb.
I was kind of hoping that I could be running Squeezeplay listening to music/slideshows/etc and fire up midori (initiated remotely using ssh) to display an IP camera stream when someone calls at the door. Sounds like I'm asking too much

Re: CCTV Monitoring on Joggler
Did you get anywhere with this? I would like to do this on my SqueezePlayOS installation. I have installed midori but how do you run it up when SPOS is running? I tried PuTTYing in and calling it from the terminal line but I get "Cannot open display". I tried setting the env variable DISPL...
