Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

@roobarb! Just a thought I've had - although I haven't got the expertise to do it. Would it be possible to find "grep"? the text "will reboot in a few seconds" as that should be part of the process / subroutine called when my joggler has it's dicky fit?

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

Which do I fiddle with and how do I do it? Think I misremembered which file you need to be looking at, as the update file (or what I'm guessing controls the updates) seems to live in /openpeak/tango as xinit.sh. Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

Ok, here's the nvram -a output

# nvram -a
net.dhcp=YES
net.wifi=YES
net.essid=dan-home
net.authtype=WPA-PSK
net.enctype=AES
net.key=mynetkey
net.wpatype=
net.login=YES
boot.stage=0
Finished

I'll have to do some reading up on SSH to work out how to browse the directory structure

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

ok - all went well, after it reflashed successfully with 1.03 I got a brand new joggler screen. Entered my name, mobile & email. Everything still ok, so I connect wirelessly to my network. As soon as the internet connection is made, the flaming joggler brings up the familiar "updates have finished j...

Re: Reflashing Tool for the O2 Joggler

Just done this using the Windows instructions all recovered, except the bleeping joggler still goes into the "Updates have finished, will now reboot" loop. https://sites.google.com/site/placetodumpstuff/home/JogglerScreen.jpg This comes up after I ran the reflasher, and was in the process of giving...

Re: New Joggler not updating o2 software

Hi

I just summoned up the courage to do this on a PMJ'd joggler that was stuck in the updating loop - sadly it now won't get past the o2 logo screen. Can anyone help?
