Pi Core Player

I have looked at upgrading to 24 bit sound for my LMS. This is easily achievable with any recent Raspberry Pi following the instructions on constructing a Pi Core Player, The pictures look so familiar. https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Re: Reflash fail internal mmc

Typed in the script and it returned nothing at all. Checked my accuracy copying. (It is a new keyboard so Pipe was Alt Numlock and 124) Tried this four times with the same result. I think it is retired!! It is on to an Xubuntu/spOS stick internally then. Thanks for your help with this attempt. I lea...

Re: Reflash fail internal mmc

Thanks again. I think the timeout was really that the action failed. I have a read out pictured but it does not look like the identifiers of any physical drive space: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AoPwykBs_L-cgdJamUaX8iH_FhpbAA?e=TqIpvx If the chip has failed I suppose single purpose spOS stick machine may be...

Re: Reflash fail internal mmc

I tried the stick loaded with Ubuntu Command Line and the output looks the same. I then entered the command to expand the partitions and got a yes/no dialogue. Tried three times to catch the dialogue to enter "y" but could not enter it in the timeout. Hit it immediately after the enter was...

Re: Reflash fail internal mmc

Thanks. This is the output from Xubuntu terminal: It seems to only see the partitions on the stick!! The stick has been used for many reflashes using your software and it was restored to full size using diskpart. Not sure if i have lost all my basic linux commands?? I tried reflashing an old O2 joggler that had previously run SpOS. It came to a quick end with a message stating "error writing */dev/mmcblk0*: no space left on device" I booted an ubuntu stick and tried mounting the internal partition ...

Re: squeezeplay disappeared

Just a note. You may have already experienced this. All four of my PNPIII Jogglers have suffered the icon loss. When I closed squeezeplay recently and the icons had gone on one of my wifi jogglers I reflashed it and I decided to stay in the squeezeplay screen continually. I set it to go into sleep. ...

Re: Ivee Sleek

Yes, but mostly remedy and fault finding unfortunately. After reading all of the bad reviews it appears mostly all of its faults are server side. Digging deeper in the reviews it looks like they have generated some hatred for the unresponsive support service. Have tried using with Philips Hue, but i...

Ivee Sleek

Just bought an Ivee Sleek second hand. (The digital alarm clock looking device) Since it's launch as a Kickstarter project, reviews have been poor. People have got fed up of it's voice activation being unreliable. It is meant to be a digital voice activated assistant that can operate wifi connected ...
