Re: OctoJoggler

Sounds like a great idea , keep us updated :-) Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk Where I am right now is that I have Midori presenting the touch interface, and I have been playing around with Klipper to see if it is feasable to use it on the joggler at the same time. Having problems getting it...

OctoJoggler

Thought I would start a thread to let you know what I am doing and who I ought to thank. First what am I up to? Well I own 2 Jogglers, one that has been used occasionally as part of my headphone/amp/dac rig for some time. It runs on Roobarb's Squeezeplayer firmware which needs reinstalled every so o...

http://www.justblair.co.uk/images/stories/Joggler_Heatsink_back_thumb.jpg You might want to have a look at my cooling project here... http://www.justblair.co.uk/o2-joggler-improving-the-jogglers-cooling.html I use some alu and heatsinks to replace some of the Joggler's own cooling. It is still pass...

Re: Question about the heat from screen

I'm thinking that the heat that you are experiencing is coming from the motherboard of the Joggler and not the screen itself. If you have the screen properly switched off, the next heat source comes from the motherboard/processor/memory of the Joggler. The Cooling on these things is fairly poor comp...

Re: Do you own SqueezeBox hardware?

Reading a few of the posts on here, I feel its kind of a shame to see people using SqueezePlay with no actual purchase of a SqueezeBox. Ultimately, if the trend increases, Logitech will eventually look at their books and make a decision that none of us want to see. Have you considered that Logitech...

Re: What other hardware can i run squeezeplay on?

I run Squeezeplay on an Asus T101MT Netbook/Tablet! Though I use it to remote control my Joggler which is connected to my headphone DAC and amp.

Should run on any windows based PC.

Re: best approach for putting a headsink/cooling?

Difficult to say what is the best. I think that this depends on your priorities... http://www.justblair.co.uk/o2-joggler-improving-the-jogglers-cooling.html I documented my heat-sink conversion here. I think it was very successful as a passively cooled solution. Even though it improves the cooling o...

Re: Old forum nearly dead?

I have no issue with a little bit of advertising on the site. Somethin like adwords or adsense would be fine. The way I look at it is that if the site is funding itself via adverts then its a healthy site that will continue for as long as it's community needs it. If the owner of the site is making a...
